Courtyard by Marriott Temecula Murrieta

The hotel looked new. It had a lot of areas to hang out in.

Some of the areas weren’t cleaned. Looked like men’s facial hair all over the inside wall of the sink. The floor by the window was grimy. We only had 1 towel set for four of us. There were no extra blankets or pillows. When we called for all of that it would be the front desk that brought it, so it would take forever. I would have felt better about the stay if I hadn’t seen all the beard hair in the sink. After a pandemic you want to feel like the place you’re staying at is clean. The outside trash cans weren’t emptied often. They didn’t have enough pool towels, I was given bath towels and the pool towels they did have were really small and thin.

We always know Marriott will fit the requirements. This location was perfect for us, being close to family and the wineries. It was quite yet convenient to the freeways. We found a great mall with good restaurant choices and there was a dog boarding facility very close which we will use in the future. We didn't try the breakfast just because we don't eat breakfast however we are able to get a great 4 mile morning power walk in the immediate area. I wish the wind wasn't blowing otherwise we would have enjoyed the roof top view.

Very modern facility. Loved the multiple outlets and USB ports. I use sleep equipment so bedside table with built in outlets was great. More outlets, USB ports and shelf for phone or other devices at the TV console. Staff was friendly and helpful. This was just an overnight stay to assist family member who is moving so didn't have time to use any services. Hope to stay again and enjoy some of the features.

Bathtub was very slick so one had to definitely stay on the rubber mat to avoid slipping while showering. A family member who stayed with me cautioned me about the slick tub... I opted to sponge bath at the sink since I was too tired to stand for more then a few minutes anyway. Most other places I've stayed the full bottom of the tub is textured.

Very nice with many amenities. Cafe, bar, swimming pool and spa, laundry room and gym. Staff was very nice and helpful. Water pier in rooms was great.

Overall the hotel was clean but our restroom needed a bite mor cleaning. Shower had some mildew and above the mirror were cobwebs. And we had ants not alot but enough to bother.

I liked the property, the colors on the wall (they set a nice mood when entering the facility). Convenience was the second reason I chose the site location.

Cleaning rules; every 3rd day. It was a bit frustrating that at this price point there were a few expectations that went unmet! Yes! I’m fully aware of the global stand we find ourselves and keeping people alive is priority. Then offer a few ‘other’ gratis: lower room rates. My room acquired so much outside dirt and stuff’ that I wanted a broom and dustpan to clean my own room. Yuk! Yuk!

We were in town for a wedding in Murrieta so the location was perfect. Check-in was easy and all of the front desk personnel were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was wet clean. The food at the bistro was very good. We would stay here again if in Murrieta.

I booked the room thinking that it had a kitchen. I couldn't find another hotel on short notice but Ricqi, one of the staff members was very helpful. She allowed me to store my groceries in the freezer. The staff was very accommodating. All eagerly assisted me in retrieving my items each day. The bed was perfect. The bathroom was luxurious. The desk feature in the room was exactly what I needed for my stay. the gym was well appointed as well.

There was a small refrigerator in the room but the shelves were oddly shaped and made it difficult to store much beyond beverages. I had to store my leftovers in the hotel fridge. The door to my room did not shut completely without an extra push and sometimes the lock would get stuck.

I understand people need to be trained but if serving Starbucks do both sides a favor and train before putting them on floor

they will not let you split payments. So whatever card you use for your stay, they’re charging the entire state at one card. And you can’t check in unless they can process the payment for the entire amount on one card.

Swimming pool was nice and equipped with plenty of chairs to allow for social distancing. Outdoor fire place is absolutely beautiful. Nice place to chill and unwind at the end of the day.

Room was small in floor space but had an incredibly high ceiling. Created a for a weird boxed in feeling.. Also card key must remain in wall mounted slot for some of the electrical components including outlets. So while I thought my phone was charging over night it turns out not so much. Energy efficient I totally understand, just a tad inconvenient.
