DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver

The bed was extremely comfortable, the staff was so hospitable, and the view was really nice. Definitely a room that I could stay in for a week or more in. There was also ample parking space for handicapped individuals.

The front desk wasn't very well staffed and there was a decent check-in wait time. My biggest complaint was that I had called ahead to make sure our room was accessible and it was not, further they were so booked that we couldn't switch rooms. The bathroom towels were nice but the shower curtain was cheaply made and allowed water through.

Room was exactly as depicted in pictures, no surprises. Bed was very comfortable. All appliances working. Good amount of towels, noise cancelled. I was able to rest very well. It has a small Starbucks in main floor and the restaurant is good too.

It's far from downtown or other places of interest, so I had to spend money in transportation every day to meet places. A lot of people come by car so that's very convenient if you have one. I couldn't enjoy the swimming pool or bath area because they were under maintenance.

The hotel had a grand lobby that felt very fancy with a computer/business area and a couple of clean, well-stocked eating places: a nice little cafe and a decent bar. There is also a restaurant right there, but I didn't visit. The employees were super helpful and courteous. Overall, I was happy with my stay.

My biggest disappointment was that the pool was closed for most of my stay. I believe it was open the first day (when I wasn't able to visit), but then it was "closed for maintenance and cleaning" the rest of my stay. My room also had some peeling in the wallpaper, which is a little off-putting, but not a big deal. The parking lot did fill up quickly, but I was always able to find a spot.

The second room (9th floor) and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the Shampoo and lotions they offered. The beds were comfortable.

The first room on the 2nd floor was awful. 2 of the 4 lamps were not working. It was dingy. We went back to the front desk and they moved us. Also did not like that we had to pay for parking. Seemed like a rip off as many other vehicles did not have parking passes and they were there overnight. No pool.

Room was a good size and very clean. Good view of the city. Good sized car park. Thought it was closer to the airport than it actually was but that was our fault not the hotel's. We only stayed one night before the start of our road trip. At the end of our road trip and back in Denver, we were stuck for getting to the airport and we had no mobile data, so the hotel receptionist allowed me to use their wi-fi to book a taxi even though we were no longer staying there, which I thought was great customer service.

Service for the bar meal was a little slow and they had forgotten one of the orders so that person got theirs after everyone else had finished. We thought that breakfast was included as this is what it stated on the Booking.com confirmation, however we were informed by the hotel reception that this was not the case. The lady on reception did give us 2 vouchers for b/fast in the end but the other 2 had to pay.

Front desk staff failed to provide us our breakfast vouchers (we were not aware that we were going to receive "vouchers " instead of attending a continental breakfast buffet. Front desk clerk said they would give us $25 per person for the mixup (which was normal) and we could use it for lunch instead, but the supervisor changed it to $10 per person. Our breakfast voucher would have been $25/pp so why the change to $10/pp? This did not settle well. Very rude Front desk supervisor (white guy with dark hair from Irvine, CA on his name tag).

The hotel was clean and comfortable. we had breakfast included and it was delicious and the servers were so sweet. We also asked and got cookies almost everyday.

The rooms do not have fridges which we missed greatly. Also, one of the reasons for choosing this hotel is that it had a pool but I was informed 2 days prior that it would be closed for renovations. My kids were disappointed.

The corner room was big. The location was good. Service and staff pleasant. They did have a Starbucks on site which one nice. The restaurant on site Knife & Board was a served a great breakfast and was very reasonable.

Very small elevations but they had a lot of them so the wait wasn’t long. Small bathroom and Television. My refrigerator didn’t work.

it was so gorgeous, sitting areas were huge. restaurant and Starbucks at your convenience. I loved that you needed to use your room key for the elevator.

I hated the carpet. it looked unclean. and I was so worried that the rooms were gonna be the same. but house keeping does an amazing job. a balcony room isn’t a room with outside access. the negative review on the staff was towards the gentleman that accused my children of rainbow colors of moving something at the pool and we had just walked in. and it was a group of young ladies that had been there before us. and he didn’t in general ask if it was moved. he assumed my rainbow kids did it. he apologized. but I still didn’t like the fact that the black, Hispanic and native kids were asked first. (my son had a birthday gathering)
