Holiday Inn Express La Junta, an IHG Hotel

Pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable bed, comfortable heater that wasn't noisy. Nice lighting in the room, space to spread out. Quiet hotel. Good breakfast. Good cable choices. Good exercise equipment, though we didn't have time to use this time. Would stay here again, no question.

Fire alarm went off a couple of times briefly after we were in bed, making us feel like we had to start dressing and leave our room. Thankfully it stopped before we had gotten very far. One lamp bulb was out.

bathroom was a little dated but still clean. wished you still supplied shower caps. only negative is the fire alarm went off around 1030 pm. no announcement was made so us and many others on our floor weren't sure if we were to evacuate or it was a false alarm. even after turned off there was no announcement.

we love this property because of the staff, the location and the charger they have we always come to a Junta and stay here or at the KOA if we have a camper but these are the two spots to stay if you are going to stay in LaJunta!

They remove the hot tub. But the pool still works great and is an awesome temperature and clean.

Breakfast was good. No fruit. Could of had some type of meat. It was ample.

Lots of bathroom 'mold'. The room was clean, the mold needs attention. Pool was good but ads showed a 'hot tub'..it was filled with cement. Windows needs much attention, in pool area. All in all, it was a good stay.

The rooms were not only nice and clean, but spacious as well. Would definitely stay again. Breakfast also went a little longer than time indicated, so that was nice.

The maids don't even wait for check out, right away knocked on our doors. Both days. Two hours before check out. So, it was annoying.

Location, everything about this property was great. We were very impressed with the breakfast provided, especially in this time of Covid. Staff very friendly rooms were great and the beds/mattresses and pillows were fantastic. We really love the pillows that are marked firm and soft, what a nice touch. We will definitely check out Holiday Inn express again on our travels.

It was not your problem, however I forgot to mention that we were RP/senior citizen members. Because I didn’t ask for it when I called originally they wouldn’t let me get any discount on the rate because we were already checking in. I didn’t think that should make a difference.

The property is well kept and the location is easy in and easy out. The room was large and well appointed as was the bathroom.

The elevator is located in the center of the building which makes for a long walk from the front desk and another long walk to the room should your room not be located near the elevator. The Covid protocol was over the top; signs everywhere regarding mask policy!

Room was comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Breakfast eggs were tough. But, hey. It was a free breakfast and I didn’t need to eat the eggs. Overall it was a great stay. No complaints at all.

The breakfast was great the staff was a prime example of EXCELLENCE. Very kind,helpful and made you truly feel like a guest .

Not a thing a true pleasure, the ultimate travel experience

I liked the pillows were big and soft. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious.

The roll in showere pan had cracks and the maintenance dept caulked the cracks and it actually looks like there is mold. It is a real turn off. The shower pan should be replaced.
