This is our 3rd time visiting in 12 months, from Wisconsin. Pricing went up considerably from last summer (guessing because last year they were doing construction). Still a great value. Hot springs great, tiki bar great, buffet breakfast great. If you want a real treat though, visit in the winter. It's the best!
We were in what must be the oldest of the buildings as our bathroom door didn't shut tightly, the floor and significant dips in it and a squeaky front door. Hot water in the tub left a bit to be desired as well. But honestly, not unhappy. Just a few things. The children in the room above us must have been having an amazing time though as you could how excited they were haha.

I did not like the kiosk checkin. There was an employee at the desk explaining to me how to use the kiosk. Was difficult without my glasses. Would have been faster for her to just check me in but she was obviously prohibited from doing that for some reason. The kiosk is so impersonal and the hotel loses a great opportunity to make a personal connection with the guests which can really enhance the experience. Instead I was stuck at a kiosk hitting buttons experiencing friction instead of a warm welcome by a person.

Lovely area and facilities. Wonderful to have hot springs caves, pools, tubs, and delicious breakfast all included. Great restaurant and Tiki bar. The food and drinks were very tasty and the restaurant staff was especially helpful and friendly. The location was so convenient and scenic. Thanks for a lovely stay!
Wasn't thrilled with the kiosk check-in, though it went smoothly and the staff was helpful. Would have much rather dealt with a person. She was right there behind the counter. (: Also, we were told and read that check-in was 4:00, but the kiosk said 1:00??

LOVED the hot springs and location! Easy walk to downtown and shops/restaurants. The hot springs/pool area was beautiful! Loved the gates as you enter too (great metal decor). The tiki bar was a great touch as well as the sauna and steam rooms. Our boys swam a lot & loved the pools too!! such gorgeous views all around!! Loved that we could include our puppy too (in the room). The hot breakfast was very yummy!!

Older rooms but clean and comfy. Hot tubs were stupendous! Friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast buffet with loads of fresh fruit! Walking distance to downtown restaurants but wish we would have at their Mine Shaft, the menu looked great! Can't wait for our next trip there.
There was an error on the final bill but Beth fixed it. A little frustrating because not all the front desk staff can help with computer glitch issues, so ask for Beth! The outdoor stairs are a little rickety but carpeted for safety. And, I can't wait until there is a way to know how hot the hot tubs are to avoid overheating.

I was expecting a "grab and go" breakfast. That is what the website said I would get. Instead we had an "all you can eat" breakfast buffet that was delicious! The hot pools were clean and well cared for. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff we talked with were all very friendly and helpful.
The cover for the heater controls was broken. The website did not mention the additional costs of using a robe or leaving a towel in the pool area. I did not like having an additional $100 charged to my account "in case I used something" that cost an extra fee, and then having my money refunded.

This room was exceptionally clean! Comfortable beds. The hot springs were wonderful! The pool is heated. The pizza at the restaurant on site was some of the best I had and Chad, the bartender/server was very friendly! The breakfast included chicken fry which was a plus for me. The location within the mountains was breathtaking- reminded me of a snow globe! I’d stay there again!
There is no balcony for the riverside rooms. The riverside area is not too scenic because of the pipelines and electrical structures but I’m sure the motel can’t help that.

Incredible hot springs on the property. Such a treat to be able to walk (across the street for us) to such lovely springs. Very clean. Beautiful location. Very happy to pay $30 additional per night to have our (2, large) dogs with us.
There was great value in the complimentary all-u-can eat breakfast, however some of the holding temperatures of the hot items were not quite hot enough to keep the food appetizing. We did find a lovely Artisan Bakery and coffee shop 2 blocks down the road which we highly recommend!

The hot springs pools were amazing and worth the money just for that. Breakfast was traditional continental style. Nothing to write home about. Property was clean, albeit lots of construction around the pool area. Staff was friendly.
Beds were pretty uncomfortable. All four of us had a hard time sleeping and woke up with sore bodies. Staff was relatively unhelpful when it came to checking in and really pushed for the kiosk check-in. That would have been fine, but mine didn't work. That process was frustrating. I had accidentally selected that I had a pet and had to start all over again, as well. And I still got charged for the pet I didn't have at the end of my stay.

The rooms need updated so badly. My bed was super tiny, collapsed on one side. Dark and uncomfortable. The drains would stop up and fill up the sink and bathtub. I paid entirely to much money for the room. I also don’t think they cleaned our room good enough after the last couple 😬
