Nordic Lodge

Greg up front was really nice and helpful. He gave us tips for our visit to the hot springs and of places to eat near by. It was mud season so quite a bit of the shops were closed for maintenance. Mostly the local coffee shops and restaurants open. The location of the lodge was very convenient in walking distance to a lot of stuff. Really appreciated that we could have our cat with us as it's hard to find a good place near everything that will allows pets especially cats. Bed was super comfy.

I thought that breakfast came with our stay. However, both days there wasn't breakfast out. Just coffee, tea and the fixings to make them. On their sign out side its says breakfast so I was a bit confused. If they just up dated that I would not have been confused/ a little disappointed. The dairy and alternative dairy products they had for the tea and coffee I wish they had stored better. The ice bucket they had them in did not seem adequate for me to feel like they had or would have stayed cold enough for the time they were out.

The room was very clean, and had everything we needed for our short stay including a fridge and microwave with small table for 2 for us to eat the lunch we brought. The bed and pillows were also quite comfortable. Our host was very friendly and there is even a jacuzzi and place to sit with the sounds of a creek nearby. This place is actually better than I expected for the low price, I will definitely stay here again when in the area.

No Continental Breakfast

This was a great location. Able to walk to all shops and restaurants downtown. Had an outdoor pool area to relax and gather at. Room was clean. Owner was helpful at check-in with directions and advice of what to see and do.

Room was a little small but doable. Would have given an excellent rating if we hadn't had to fix the toilet a couple times.

The location is fantastic. You are a block away from a path along the Yampa River and a large park. There are places to eat within a block and up and down Lincoln. Shopping too.

The front desk people are awesome. So friendly and gave me the best suggestions. Unfortunately the rooms aren't very soundproofed. Day 1 I had the best night's sleep. Day 2 my next door neighbors kept me up until the wee hours, and they were not loud or partying but sound travels. Day 3, the people above me were moving constantly. These are not large rooms, so I cannot understand how they kept walking, and walking and kept me up again until about 2 am. Maybe there were just a large number of people in the room, as my room slept 6 in 3 queen beds.

Loved the fact it's pet-friendly but didn't smell like it, unit was very clean, staff was friendly and the coffee was great. The location is fantastic because you can walk all over downtown/old town and the Yampa River Bike path.

The a/c unit didn't really cool the room with the beds in it (it's in the front room) and it seemed pricey (albeit it was Labor Day weekend when we stayed there) Parking is very crowded within the motel property.

The location was perfect in the centre of town and close to all amenities . The local bus to the ski area which was free was across the road so no need to take your car . Greg and Chelsea were very welcoming and provided lots of useful information about the town and recommendations for dinner etc . They made us feel at home right away and that’s rare these day where so many hotels and lodges take a corporate approach . The accommodation had everything we needed and was warm and very comfortable.

Location is fantastic. We walked to shops, meals, and it was easy to reach. Staff was fantastic - gave us mugs to borrow for making tea, etc. Lots of good local advice, etc.

Had some heavy walkers above us (we were on first floor), which was a bit annoying, but not much anyone can do about transmitting footsteps through the floor/ceiling. On the plus side, we apparently had a large dog in the room next to us and never hear it bark until they were checking out (and we were outside of our room).

Right in the middle of Steamboat Springs where you area in walking distance from everything. Although I didn’t use them, I noticed that there were laundry facilities there as well. It was clean and quiet. It was also reasonably priced. But that could also have bee the time of the year - I know not what the prices are during ski season.

I’m not going to try to make up anything here. I liked it.

This lodge is right off of the Main Street. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants etc. Comfortable beds. Great coffee in the main office. Friendly front desk staff.

No breakfast available, but did have toaster in main office at coffee/hot water station. I had brought oatmeal and bagels.
