Quality Inn & Suites Steamboat Springs

The room was attractive, clean, quiet, and comfortable with modern fixtures. There was a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator in the room. The staff was ready to check me in not long after 2:00pm. They have a laundry room with $1.25 wash and $1.25 dry, less than a laundromat. They sell detergent and make change at the front desk. The free Steamboat bus drops you off and picks you up right outside the hotel.

The hotel is far away from the center of the town, but the free bus runs 3 times an hour and was easy to use. The room was expensive, costing twice as much per night as most other hotels along the Continental Divide Trail, but all hotels in Steamboat are expensive, especially on a weekend.

Children in unit above jumping off their beds & screaming at 10:30 p.m. & woke me up at 6 a.m. doing the same thing. Had to call front desk to make them stop so I could get some sleep that night! Guests not considerate of anyone else - allowing their children to disrupt other hotel guests ability to relax & sleep at late hours - VERY RUDE! Families should be put in one section and individuals w/out children put in a separate quieter area... would make sense if accommodations allow.

The room exceeded our expectations. The Jacuzzi was a nice bonus surprise. The king size bed was great and the breakfast was awesome with lots of choices. Housekeeping was top notch and friendly. All staff were there to serve with a smile. The location is great. Overall experience was superior.

Some of the dishes were not cleaned. One of the front desk attendants was rude and did not answer any of the questions we asked and on top of that was rude to my husband for asking for more towels. The other three front desk attendants we came across though were quite nice.

The Breakfast was surprisingly good . No milk, the hostess stated more was on the way, it never showed up.

Strange layout to the room . The bathroom door and toilet face the first bed , kinda awkward. These hotels always have a clunky loud seating area with a Television blasting in the background . The room rates a bit over priced , Steamboat is getting way to expensive now .

Comfy bed, liked room on ground floor, convenient parking, appreciated mini fridge and microwave. When we asked to extend our stay, the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodated us quickly and easily. She was very friendly.

When we checked in, the front desk person was a bit scattered and I would suggest it wasn't her best day. She was short-tempered with another guest and complained about how busy she was and that there should be "no laughing". (Honestly.) And she wasn't kidding. It was uncomfortable. This was a different person than the one described above, in "What did we like?" Also, the breakfast was funky, wrapped, prepared food and guests had to pre-order on a piece of paper, then it was paper bagged and set up for guests to pick up at the front desk because of Covid-19 restrictions. It was inedible. Quality Inn should just skip it, like many other chains did during the restrictions.

Clean, comfortable hotel, no frills, but adequate for our needs and really good value for steamboat during skiing season. Free shuttle bus was right in front of the hotel. Very convenient to ski slopes.

Fair breakfast choices, though it was nice to have some eggs, biscuits, sausage. Very convenient shuttle to the ski slopes, but to go downtown you have to change busses.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small. Hard to get in and shut the door without maneuvering a bit. They had an area off of the lobby with a large comfy couch, tv, books, and a Foosball table which was nice.

The breakfast wasn't great but I guess with Covid it's the best they could do. Not a lot of options. The breakfast burrito was pretty gross. The location is good except there is a detour to the ski area that turns right before the hotel so that traffic is horrendous. Obviously not the hotel's fault. Instead of turning left, we just kept going straight and did a turn around at the next building and came back to the hotel making a right. Much quicker than waiting for that left turn.

The housekeeping was outstanding. One of the older housekeeping stafff was a delight!! I wish I knew her name. We chatted w her every day. She always has a smile on her face. The place was so clean and we have had poor experiences these last 2 years w non clean places not here though!!

Internet did not work in breakfast room or community room

For an older property it was nicely updated and very clean. Furniture was comfortable. The back side away from Highway 40 was very quiet and pretty.

Breakfast was very basic and rather limited. Yogurt was a nice choice but only one “flavor” which was not a flavor we could eat because of allergies. A variety would have been preferred.
