What did I like? Our beautiful room with more amenities than expected: 2nd bath, 2nd single bdrm, mini washer and dryer, sweeping living room opening up to expansive patio balcony complete with full furniture outfit. Gracious bdrm with awesome poster bed and roomy master bath. We spent just as much time on the deck counting pelicans, watching fishing vessels, and looking out at an amazing nature tributary. Pool and deck out our front door was nice, convenient. Friendly kitty duo wandered as they wished. LOVED walking to a nearby Oyster restaurant w/ casual atmosphere, entertainment. Or walk the other way and try their seafood! enjoyed meandering the quaint working fishing town. And St George Island State Park. Happily, I didn't need our furnished kitchen, with so many choices around town.

Wish they had a mini breakfast buffet, or similar. NOT a deal breaker! :D

To open the door to this gracious, spacious room that had patio doors to the patio viewing pelicans and the salt marshes, fishing vessels, etc, was simply amazing! Kitchen, eating area, mini bdrm with ANOTHER bath, was awesome. Patio/balcony was HUGE with appropriate furniture to really relax and watch the canals to the marina. Wildlife was awesome!

Had to hunt coffee down besides room Keurig.

The planning, arranging, and greeting we received were fantastic. The young lady who assisted us with the check-in was very sweet. She ensured our room met our expectations and it did. I would recommend staying here for the beautiful scenery, and quietness, and the proximity was great for downtown shopping.

We had no complaints about this stay. I would recommend it to everyone.

The view from our terrace overlooking the estuary was beautiful. We sat and watched the sunrise, fishing boats going by and the wonderful pelicans trying to get fish ….all so relaxing.

The dishwasher powder/capsule holder was broken and the kitchenette could have been more fully equipped with cups, bowls and cutlery.

I believe each room has a view of the Scipio river / creek and the 2nd and 3rd floors would have a nice view of the Apalachicola river. The property is located in a quiet place and is very nice. Handicap rooms and ramps are available. We never heard our neighbors next door or above us. Our room had a washer and dryer, they may all have one, which was very helpful during our stay. The kitchen area was very adequate for our needs.

Our son has an all electric vehicle and the charging stations didn't work all the time. The staff would rest a breaker but beyond that could offer no help. This feature was one reason we chose this property so it was disapointing in that the charger was not dependable.

Everything! The location on the Apalachee River was tranquil, beautiful, and exotic, with shrimp boats and pelicans periodically cruising by. Sitting and eating on the spacious and screened deck/balcony was fabulous. The interior decor was elegant, reminiscent of an historical coastal house with lots of wood. The kitchen was well stocked for short-term lodging. The king bed was wonderful. This was one of the best accommodations we have experienced for the money. It is a new and unpretentious hotel with a marina in Apalachicola, a historic and charming old port town on the northern gulf coast of Florida.

We loved the screened balcony that overlooked the river and enjoyed watching the boats. We also saw an alligator one day. We also liked the kitchen area as we could make our lunches to take to the beach each day and, if we didn't want to eat out, we were able to make a frozen pizza.

We wished that the balcony furniture was balcony height or bar height so that we could see above the rail. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be a nice touch.

The room was enormous. It was more like having our own townhouse with a full kitchen. I only wish we were staying longer. Loved the town - very easy walk from the hotel. Also loved the cats that welcomed us on the visit.

No complaints.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The screened in balcony overlooking Scipio Creek gave great views of both sunrise and sunset over the Apalachicola River. Kitchen was a great bonus.

There was very little that we didn't like.

Great location. Nice screened patio right on the water. Nicely furnished with everything we needed.

A few of the outlets did not work. Garbage disposal broken. The staff was not helpful with questions.
