Hadley House Islamorada

I was worried about the ratings driving down. Don’t be . it’s a delightful place. I’m a Karen about hotels. it’s a little bare bones, but truly a lovely place with a lovely staff. perfect location to drive down and see the rest of the keys and close enough to drive back and have a beautiful comfortable stay.

Couch cushions and chair cushions had many stains and it took 3 visits to the office to get linens for the couch bed

the breakfasts was great and the bed were very comfy

the bathroom wasn’t cleaned that well as there was lots of other peoples hairs

Location was good considering there isn't really a center of Islamorada. The room we booked was unavailable so we were fortunate to get an upgrade. I think having a standard room for the money we paid would have been disappointing. Staff on reception were fantastic, especially Thomas, who was very friendly and helpful.

A lot of money for a quiet area. Suites were lovely with sea views, but standard rooms may leave you a little disappointed. Breakfast was quite limited and a safety deposit box in the rooms would be a nice addition. Pool area needs a bit of attention, could do with upgrading chairs and tidying up.

Could not have asked for better staff. Very courteous and room was very clean.

The only thing I did not like was the waterfront. While it was nice to be able to rent different things there for the water there was no big area for anyone to sit and relax and enjoy the water right on the water. Two narrow “jetties” run out but there were only a couple of chairs at the end. If looking to sit, relax and enjoy the water I’d recommend staying elsewhere. If you’re on the run enjoying all the Keys has to offer then it’s a GREAT place to stay. Room and staff was EXCELLENT.

The view from the sea view room was lovely. The room was comfortable and the front office staff were friendly and helpful. There were bikes, kayaks and paddle boards for use Complementary ice cream was nice.

The shower was woeful, no flow or pressure. Our side of buildings were a little dated and could do with a lick of paint. Bed main room needs replacing as any movement (rolling over) made loud squeezing noises. Price was a little expensive for what it was

The views and the first staff we encountered sorry the business card accident got washed so I couldn’t see the name. She did an excellent job of answering our questions and explaining everything!

Bathroom shower leaked water on the floor, door n side of shower looked rusted n need of replacement. Bed was squeaky n uncomfortable. There were roaches n or palm meadow bugs on head board n bathroom. We didn’t want to complain due to we were trying to stay positive for our vacation/husband birthday! We had a short stay we were trying to enjoy all of it!

Clean, spacious, great location. Nice staff. Comfy beds

Lack of lights. Breakfast was very basic. Shower was difficult due to lack of pressure and difficult to adjust (too hot). Need a tub mat to prevent slipping.

Location was perfect. Luckily since we couldn't hang out at the hotel by the water there were plenty of water front restaurants near by. Rooms were very clean. Staff was extremely friendly.

Pool was not near the water... and the building blocking it also blocked the breeze. Alos large families took all the water frontage. We were unable to enjoy or fish because they took up both sides with tents and all. Wish we had more water front time. Also need lights in the hallways from parking. A snake got my husband at night.

The breakfast was sufficient, excellent fresh daily muffins! There are chairs at the end of the dock, a nice place to hang out or throw a line in. Several boat slips for smaller boats, and a boat ramp. We had an ocean front room with a great balcony, 2 bedroom/1bath, kitchen. Full size fridge was very useful! Bikes available, and corn hole. The front desk staff very friendly and helpful.
