Flamingo Express Hotel

I like Flamingo Express to stay at, the rooms seem to always be nice and clean.. it's very rare that I sleep directly on their beds and bring my own bedding, mainly because the bedding they have reminds of something my grandmother mite of had in her days. It rained most of the time there so I didn't get to enjoy their pool, but was disappointed that I wasn't able to use the onsite gym they have, unless I paid for classes. I was told the gym was for private members. Other than that the place was convenient for some work I had to do in that area.

We did like that the restaurant is open on the property. This made it easy for breakfast.

I had to pay a $100 deposit that wasn’t shown on the website, caught me off guard. but it was refunded back to me.

Breakfast and I'm missing in your pantry is extremely overpriced location was good cuz I can go out until the gas station and pick up breakfast rather than spend the amount of money there.

I didn't care for that the bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been mold under 18 and the shower they all need some Ajax going on a good scrub down. I also did not like that the rooms all the rooms from what I understand phones do not work. One of them there with one cell phone and there's an emergency and my partner is out and about and he has my cell phone but yet can't call me. Room phones a must.

The front desk was very helpful and very nice. I wish I could have gotten her name. I checked in at 3pm Jan 9th so who ever worked that shift. she was also back there in the morning because she was there when I checked out at 7am. She was great. not only to me but with her multitasking running back and fourth from lobby to pantry, she also just as nice to all the other customers I seen her interact with. after a few bad experiences at prior hotels it was finally nice to meet someone with respect. 🙂

The location was awesome, close to the venue we wanted to visit. Easy in and out.

The desk clerk was wearing a mask and with an accent it was next to impossible deciphering what he was saying. With that, we ended up with a $61.25 charge on my husband's debt card for the water park that we NEVER even used while there and my husband never used his debit card while there and when I called the hotel directly, they didn't know anything about it, still under investigation by our bank.

The front desk staff member named Latisha, was amazing! My stay was 10 times better than expected for the price I paid. The beds were comfortable enough. The shower got hot quickly and head great water pressure. The tub was so clean that I actually took a bath in it. I was traveling for business and found that the desk was gigantic and gave me lots of workspace. The chair for the desk was very comfortable too. Overall, I am very satisfied and will be a returning guest very soon of this quiet, family oriented, well valued option for lodging

I thought that the room could have been a bit cleaner behind the beside tables and other such places. It was a bit gross plugging cords into the outlets, but hey..... if thats the biggest issue in my life when I pay 68 dollars AFTER tax at a hotel, I'm winning.

The location was very nice, easy access to major highways. The room was good although the furniture seems dated. Issues with room issues were resolved by the maintenance team was very fast. Was not able to use the water park but the area seemed clean and people were having fun.

The furniture could be more modern and not as bulky for the room. Something simpler would had been nice.

The night shift woman can't remember her name was just exceptional she went above and beyond and make my stay here a memorable one she has the best customer skills that I have seen in a long time and I have traveled the world from Hawaii to the Cayman Islands but there was a problem she was on top of it and show that she really cared for her guest I will be back and I will highly recommend to all my business. Been here for our 4th time in 3 years, my kiddos definitely love every single activity that the hotel offers, from the waterpark of course, to the activity room, and the arcade, the movie theater and don't let out the playground, the coffee from the restaurant Sabores is exceptional we will definitely come back, it has become our little family tradition!
