Waikiki Heritage Hotel

pleasantly surprised about everything! location, cleanliness, quiet, privacy, room was spacious, shower was excellent, air flow through the windows, beds comfy, pool clean

The location is very convenient to restaurants, beaches, and public transportation. The beds were comfortable. Nice fluffy towels. It was adequate for our visit to Honolulu from Hilo. No frills but good value since we were only there to sleep.

The dresser drawer would not stay closed and was a bit of a tripping hazard so we blocked it with a water bottle. A couple more pillows would be nice. And cups or glasses for the bathroom.

the beds were very comfortable. also, we arrived after 10pm and a staff member checked us in anyway, which was great.

the property was good but the communication was very bad. when I emailed the office to say that our flight had been delayed and that we would be arriving after 10pm, I simply received a very unhelpful response saying “sorry the office shuts at 10”. it was only by chance that a staff member was still there to check us in. surely you should have an actual procedure for this situation?

My third stay this year!! It’s not fancy but location and price are everything to me when in Waikiki and you can’t beat being on Beachwalk, close to da beach, CVS, Starbucks, Nakamura Ramen……..This visit I got a great deal on a poolside room which was my best stay so far. The front office gals Jeannie and Janice are always friendly, smiling and professional. So I got one more visit in November and of course, I will be checking into the Pagoda!!

I’m not complaining about anything because you get what you pay for and I’m totally satisfied, feel safe and comfortable with the Pagoda and what it does and doesn’t offer.

On my favorite street in Waikiki, Beachwalk. It’s from the ‘60’s just think the original Hawaii 5-O……but very clean, convenient and so very close to the beach and the main drag Kalakaua Ave. and the price is about as cheapest as you can find. So if you don’t mind the not so fancy basics and outstanding location, the Pagoda is your hula hangout!! Aloha!

There are many feral roosters/hens across the street on the Saratoga side of the Fort DeRussy parking lot and US Post Office……You may believe you are staying at Old McDonald’s farm around 3AM…….yowza, yowza, yowza!!!

The Pagoda is all about location!! On Beachwalk, it is in the heart of Waikiki and so convenient and close to the beach, dining and shopping. It may be a relic of old Hawaii but the price can’t be beat and the staff very friendly. I have stayed here five times in the last nine months for a total of almost fifty nights!!

No dislikes or complaints!. You pay for what you get here. Don’t expect luxury or fancy. Just the basics.

There was a parade and marathon during the same week, and they didn’t inform about the parade with anticipation about roads closed to get to the hotel.

The property is one of the the few flashback hotels left in Waikiki. The walls are hollow tile so it is very quiet. It has a small kitchen but no cups or anything. The shower has good pressure and the bed is comfortable.

Reception closes at 10 pm and we were on a late flight,but we made it.
