Kahana Beach Vacation Club

Location was great , we enjoyed our stay and I would go back to the same room, the only thing needed attention upgrade the mattress and install screen for the balcony, I don’t like using A/C I like fresh air, we couldn’t open it because flies will fill the room, other than that it was excellent stay.

Murphy bed really uncomfortable ànd the air conditioning was terrible. Most nights sweaty and sleepless.

The views were incredible - we had a studio with an ocean view (not ocean front) and it was perfect! The room was bigger than we expected and very clean. The Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable and everything was well stocked with dishes, cookware, sheets, towels, etc. The location was great and within walking distance of restaurants and general stores. We took the bus into Lahaina from the bus stop a couple hundred yards away - $2 each and a very easy 30-minute trip.

The pool was plain and on the small side, but it was what we expected from other reviews and we were therefore not disappointed. I do wish we could have brought the pool chairs to the beach (or have access to others) but it was still a great stay.

Location to the beach, town, and restaurants. Value for the money. Helpful and professional staff.

The hotel is right on the beach. The room was less than 100 feet from the surf. The sunset view was spectacular. The room was modern, comfortable, and included a well equipped kitchen. The room has great windows and a large sliding door opening to a pleasant balcony. The parking lot is small but, was never completely filled. Facilities are basic for a resort. But, the location is a short drive from many dining and shopping options.

People seeking a more comprehensive resort might be disappointed by the on site facilities.

Location was outstanding. Right on the ocean. Unrivaled view. Nice beach, turtles frequented it (or at least the adjacent public beach). Reasonable balcony to enjoy watching the whales go by. Small kitchenette was helpful to have.

The Murphy bed was not the sturdiest thing. No private bedroom. Bathroom was a bit small. Had to run to the property next door (Sands of Kahana) to get stuff like new beach towels. Hot tub was not very hot and pool could have used more cleaning (film of suntan oil floating on it.

The location is fantastic. The beach area was really nice, some sand to relax on and waves to,play in.

The front desk was just sort of helpful. information in the room was misleading about access to the neighbor property workout room. The mattress on the Murphy bed was really hard. Finally, the kitchen utensils were a hodge lodge of mismatched and poor quality items that you couldn’t sell at a garage sale.

Everything was good maybe the mattress could be a little better (but not bad).

location, the utensils and needed stuffs were all there for us to save and make our food so we don’t need to eat out all the time.

no after hour representative to call and get info or in case of emergency. like for late check in or early check out due to flight schedules.

Location was great. Loved the beach! Staff was very friendly.

Sofa beds are just not comfortable. The memory foam on mattress helped. The condensation from the air conditioner dropped down on the person sleeping on the Murphy bed.
