We loved everything about the property. Close to several restaurant options and stores. The pool was absolutely amazing. The best hotel pool we’ve ever used. The temperature was perfect. The bed was super comfortable as well as the bedding and pillows. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

No microwave in the room. However this isn’t a negative at all, since there is a microwave wave for guests to use at the restaurant in the lobby. So it’s a minor, “didn’t like”, but since the question is on here, that is my only answer!

The rooms were extremely clean and well-kept, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast and complementary cookies were delicious, and the lobby with the fireplace was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to stay again if ever in the area.

We didn't use the pool, but when walking by, the water looked a little darker than expected (However, I'm thinking this may have just been the color of the liner and not anything to be concerned about...)

Very clean and comfortable. Great hotel for a family and anyone. My kids loved the pool and there was an outdoor area with a firepit to hangout. We all got a complimentary cookie at checkin which was delicious! Great location too with restaurants closeby even within walking distance

Nothing bad to say but a breakfast included with our stay would have been nice or a nice discount for a meal at the restaurant. Had to pay for breakfast so we went out for all our meals to save $

elevator online it was stated “free wi-fi and breakfast.” We were surprised that there was a $15 charge for breakfast. The statement was misleading if it was only meant to say “free wi-fi.” Breakfast was delicious in spite of the confusion, however!

We were really impressed of this hotel. We travel to Lafayette to visit family. We try to find a hotel that would be the only place we would stay.. this has the potential.. and the complimentary cookies at check-in were a selling point for my husband 😉

This property has a restaurant inside that even staying there we knew nothing about. When checking in it would have been nice to know what they offer. But there are two other restaurants in walking distance

The breakfast was spectacular. A literal joy. I could skip lunch after that feast.

I am not a thyssenkrupp elevator fan. I feel safest in an Otis elevator. Thyssenkrupps make funny noises.

Location was great for my family. Many restaurants are very close. Everything seemed clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The selection of tv channels was good.

The pillows are like a bag of air with about 5 feathers maybe. The shower door leaks terribly. It was a challenge to wash my toddlers in the very adult oriented shower. All the provided soaps and lotions have lavender in them. I'm allergic to lavender. I had to run to walmart to buy hand soap because the hotel doesn't have anything without lavender in it.

Room was amazing and the bar too for your welcomed by an amazing fire place and open bar when you walk in as well as cookies and amazing people to greet you at the front desk. Next you have our room which was a kings room Amazing comfort and also yes the shower is right next to the bed sadly but it’s an amazing room for it truly looks like the room would be at least 200 a night or so Amazing value

The main areas were nice and clean and I liked having a digital key and the digital check in and check out.

I wished breakfast was included in the price but it wasn't too bad. The elevator was also on the smaller side. My mom wished there was a bit more lighting in the main bedroom area.

The staff was very accommodating. The location is good. The value was great. Ample towels were provided as well. That's always a plus with me.

The description of the room when booked indicated a microwave and refrigerator. In reality it only had a fridge. Unfortunately the first night we had to use the microwave in the hotel lobby to heat up our food. The next morning I contacted the staff. I was informed only some of the rooms have microwaves. I stated that we wanted to move to a different room & inquired about the cost. The clerk said no additional cost. Our expectations were met after moving. Unfortunately for us the occupants next door had small children. The kids were running, screaming and playing with the door handle of the conjoined door. This was disturbing. I did not lodge a complaint because we were awake and preparing to check-out soon. In spite of a few hiccups I would stay @ the Double Tree again.
