Residence Inn by Marriott Lafayette

This hotel was nice! The whole place looked new and clean and well cared for. Our suite was large and had a separate bedroom that closed off from the living room. The bed was very comfortable. There was a large TV in the living room and another in the bedroom. We didn't need it on this trip but there was a full kitchen, including a small dishwasher and garbage disposal. The public areas were lovely as well, and included a large lobby and seating area, an indoor pool, and outdoor basketball. The breakfast was more than adequate an included several hot dishes. We really enjoyed our stay!

Check in was a breeze. Professional and efficient staff at the reception. Room was spacious , clean and very comfortable. We asked for bedding for the sofa-bed And were asked to pick it up from the reception. This was 12/25 and they could have been short-staffed. Breakfast was fresh with a lot of variety. The main hot item was cheese omelette and I asked if we could get eggs without cheese. The attendant made us fresh scrambled eggs! I requested a late checkout and was allowed to do so after the receptionist signed me in to the bonvoy club. Very positive experience.

The coffee was atrocious. Both in the room and at breakfast.

The location was perfect. you are with numerous great restaurants with dine-in, carry-out and delivery. Walmart is within 5 mins, Gas station within 2 mins, and Tippecanoe Mall within 10-15mins. With having kids their first question is “where’s the pool?” it was nice walking in and it not being the first thing you see. Even though it is in view when pulling up; it looks to be in a different building from the lobby. with that being said it away from the lobby on the first floor with washer and dryers , as well as a very large nice gym. it’s was beautiful and very spacious.

I really don’t have complaints. My room looked to have had someone come in. the pillow the ordinarily is on the couch was on the floor. there was a spill that wasn’t cleaned up. I did have a room that had a joining room door and it was unlocked and slightly opened when we came in. the closest door in the king suite bedroom was also open. even the extra linens for the sofa bed was not in there.

This was a beautiful hotel with VERY spacious rooms! The beds were comfortable, the kitchenette and desk area were well laid out and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast every morning was good and had a decent variety of selections that varied day to day. This was just perfect for a one week stay!

Our rooms did not get refreshed after the 3rd day of our stay until we requested it.

The room was larger than anticipated, but needed the space for ourselves, daughter and 6-year old grandchild. It was great to have a full size refrigerator and kitchen space.

We are very food concious and felt the breakfast left a lot to be desired compared to others we have had at other hotels. However, the egg "omelet" really was very good. No milk was available (except for chocolate milk) for cereal or use in coffee. When discussed with the hospitality lady, she simply noted that she has no part in ordering supplies. Perhaps someone who knows what the clients enjoy, should be directly involved in ordering appropriate supplies. There were a lot of high-fat content 'heat and eat' products.

Clean, nice rooms & indoor pool not “outta commission”!

Laura @ front desk kinda rude. No extra towels or blankets. Toilet overflowed & sent non-working plunger & 2 towels instead of sending maintenance.

The breakfast was a little bit of a let down but with COVID going on it’s understandable! Over all it was a wonderful room and it was much larger than we expected! I love the Kitchenette which included dishes and silverware! We also enjoyed having a couch in the living room area! The bathroom was very large and spacious for our family of three! We were there for a wedding so I personally loved having a vanity and mirror to get ready!! The fire pit was really nice and we had a great stay overall. The price was very reasonable which topped it all off! Would absolutely recommend to our family and friends!

The breakfast could have been better, like I previously stated. With COVID-19 going on I am sure they are only allowed to serve certain things so it is understandable. The breakfast wouldn’t keep me from staying again!

It was pretty awful. not really hot and just stale tasting. It would be nice if one of the chain hotels would make an effort to have a real egg and gravy that wasn't from a can. I liked that you had breakfast, but was disappointed in the quality.

The room was excellent, it was big with a large TV and working area for those travelling for work. Great utilities, kitchenette etc.

The location wasn't great.

The breakfast service was great and readily filled. The room was very clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly.

Rooms need ice buckets! Cups in the bathroom are needed, too.
