Comfort Suites Merrillville near US 30

I was having trouble with the keycard, and they corrected the issue promptly. I was given extra towels because we were using the pool, and the staff was very accommodating to our needs. An overall great experience.

The room was very spacious especially at that price. Large bathroom was well lit with large vanity which made getting ready easy in the morning. Having a pullout couch, coffee table and separate desk was an added bonus. Close to mall and plenty of restaurants. The landscaping was kept neat. Check in and out was very easy. Very pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend if you want the most bang for your buck.

Would love to have a better coffeemaker like a Keurig in the room with better coffee selection so we wouldn't have to leave the room to get some but they also offered coffee in the lobby so it wasn't a huge deal.

Breakfast was what I expected.

The check in process was too slow but that was due to bookings.com not notifying you of my change in reservations. I made the change March 5 and my stay was April 19. So feedback you might want to give bookings if you continue to work with them.

The check in wasn’t very good…we arrived around 5-530 pm and the check in clerk was no where to be found…by the time he made an appearance there were 3 people behind me waiting…there was no bell or anyway to let him know someone was waiting and that happened repeatedly because we were visiting with family in the lobby and the minute the manager left…the evening clerk disappeared leaving others to wait as we did….not very good for customer service!!

The hotel is in a good location, the room was clean and warm.

The front desk, called me and accused me for having more than one person in my room. When I was checking in my Brother and uncle was at the front desk with me, they already booked a room there, we are went up stairs and 30 minutes I got a called front desk and asking for my family to come back down and pay.

Breakfast was satisfactory. Eggs did not look like eggs as they were pale nd pancake shaped. Everything else was good. We enjoy the waffles and there were two waffle makers and two choices of batter.

my room wasn’t secure ( looks like a door frame was damaged) so was very easy to pick with my keycard. Room 205

It was a good value for a decent stay. There were many choices for shopping and restaurants right by the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. I would stay here again!

It was decent but not the most updated. It’s fine though, but it was noticeable. Lastly there was no hot breakfast, just packaged items. I’m used to Comfort Suites having a hot breakfast, so that was a disappointment.

The mattress was comfortable compared to the other rooms in that hotel.

The window curtain was missing and couldn't close to block sun. Room 311

The lady at the front desk is very helpful and nice! The room was larger than expected.

My wife figured out the shower release but it took me asking to find out your reach under the faucet and pull down to get the shower to work. Perhaps a card on the counter with a graphic would be helpful if enough people complain. It could be I'm just dumb when it comes to working showers! :)
