Hampton Inn Vincennes

The cleanliness of the property. The shower was large with nice pressure. Pool was nice with a shower attached. Breakfast was good with variety.

Roy was a nice guy. The next two lady employees was not as friendly or upbeat. Shower was very slippery, needs grips and the bottom. My child feel hit his head. Luckily he was okay!

It's just a very nice place. I wish the prices were a little lower because of the town it's in. Vincennes is not a touring town and if people are going there it's most likely to visit family or another reason like that not for a vacation. I don't think it should be vacation prices. But the facility is very nice and the front staff young man was old-fashioned friendly with courtesy and politeness. He is actually the reason I'm giving this review. He listened to my concerns and fixed any problems. I think housekeeping needs to do a better job in the handicapped rooms. It honestly look like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time, just straightened up. I do not recommend the handicap accessible rooms. The other room seemed to be nice. The pool is always clean and the lobby is very nice. I did not care for the breakfast attendance attitude towards my granddaughter, acting like she shouldn't go for seconds or look for other things. She's a very polite nice girl.. I almost got angry because he wouldn't stop. Well those are the things I think most people are concerned about. My vehicles have never been harmed outside and the air, heat, hot water, and locks all worked well. The bed was made up very nice. It's a very comfortable bed with nice pillows. The rooms are pretty quiet. I definitely recommend staying here from all the other places I know in Vincennes.

Housekeeping failed to actually clean the handicap accessible rooms. They were only straightened up and this is twice it's happened. The other rooms were very nice.

When I arrived in the evening of 12oct22 I was told at the front desk I did not reserve that morning for the 12-14oct22 but for the following week of 10-21oct22. I made the mistake of misreading my calendar that morning in our rush to attend preparations for a funeral in Vincennes. And because there were no rooms available at Hampton I could only reserve for 13&14oct22. At the same time I cancelled the 19-21reservation. By now this has been verified many times. So where is my refund as promised in person and over the phone with Hampton personnel including the manager several times by now?

Very comfortable, clean, and friendly environment. The breakfast buffet was fantastic.

the staff has great customer service interaction even with working the Night Shift, I really appreciate that cause that makes a big difference. thank you ladies

small coffee stain in bathroom sink, bathroom mirror had water spots with streaks, slightly dusty. shower door was streaky. I am a person who believes in the “attention to detail” and in this time we pray things In general are sanitized and cleaned so when it is not performed it just makes you think about the rest of the room.

I like the new style inside doors latch, the cover on the peephole, the comforter, though I hope it gets washed after each use. I liked that the maid service was as needed over the weekend. cleanliness was excellent. the slide out drawers in the bathroom were helpful, and I liked the step in showers. I will return again.

facing the wrong way, wind always seemed to be face on, so could use some shelter. luggage carts were a little cumbersome and unwieldy, and the toilet paper kept flying off the holder, might try turning it upward . nothing major. also, need to set up a place next to wastebaskets for recycling cans…..those outside the rooms.

It was conveniently located for our needs.

We had to change rooms 2 times. The first room had obviously not been cleaned since being used. The second time the air conditioner wasn't working properly. So check in took an extra 30 minutes but after that inconvenience everything was fine.

Clean, the facilities and pool were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast was very wide variety of choices!

it was more expensive than the average hotel but it was worth it

Very comfortable. You do have climate control. Really liked the walk in shower. Would recommend to friends and family.

Hotel in all aspects was great. Hotel staff was helpful although on arrival I did not think the staff memeber on duty was helpful at all.

I had trouble with the address on my GPS. Maybe better instructions on location would help.
