Baymont by Wyndham Pella

Great location looked clean would like to have used the pool but it was way too busy. I thought the bed and room decor/ layout was very comfortable & simple.

Trash in the parking lot, employee sitting at the front door when I arrived. The Gentleman didn't even offer to hold the door or acknowledge me..likely on break. Front desk ladies were not helpful with my request for early check in or call me as promised when my room was ready. The new gal at the front desk late in the afternoon was bossy and talked too fast to understand anything she said.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean. Good location. Good breakfast. Great price! Nice pool/hot tub area and adequate exercise area. Close to restaurants, shopping, and short drive to historical and downtown area.

Coffee was not good--very weak! Indoor pool was pretty and inviting, but too cold to use. Breakfast area was closed except for breakfast. (We sometimes like to utilize a table for a game of cards in the evening.)

The breakfast was fair. The location was great. We liked that there was a Fareway Grocery store close by and fast food places. Our room was very clean as well as the rest of the building. We liked the convenience of having a refrigerator and a microwave in our room. The staff were very friendly and helplful.

On our first morning the breakfast room was crowded and awkward to get to the food items. When we did get there some of the containers were empty and the coffee pot was empty. We would have liked to have seen some better selections of cereal and was disappointed that decaf coffee was not offered as I have to limit my caffeine. There was only one person working the breakfast and she was very nice but I think she needed a helper. I do not fault her at all. The next two mornings were better due to fewer customers. I know every place is under staffed right now so I think we just need to be patient.

The staff was amazing, especially Debra!! She checked me in and was so welcoming. Everytime she saw us she asked if everything was going good and if she could help with anything. The coffee was great while we watched the kids in the pool. We did get in the hot tub and it felt so great. The kids loved the extras in the pool! The breakfast was perfect, good variety!

The newly renovated pool was fantastic! 85 degrees and the hottub was great too! The staff was also very accommodating and quick to respond to any requests! If you want to be close to Pella for a GREAT value, this is your place! We will definitely stay here again when we visit Pella!

The bathroom was small and you couldn't close the door when you had the bath mat or a towel on the ground and the breakfast was good but nothing to write home about and they stopped serving at 9am! Still, not too bad!

Pella is a hidden gem. I highly recommend staying at this property. The pool was extremely clean and the hot tub was real nice . Breakfast was excellent. Make sure to visit the Windmill museum and go to the Jaarsma bakery it’s exceptional. A great place to relax if you’ve been on the road all day . Definitely recommend this is a rest and relaxation destination. Best place my wife and I have stayed in a while

did not have curb appeal, could not bring a drink to the pool. Part of a vacation is sitting by the pool sipping on a drink

I was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast selection. Due to covid I assumed it be prepacked pastries. They had waffles, french toast, biscuits and gravy, cereal. It was wonderful to have that surprise. Staff seemed to be keeping up and cleaning the public areas. Our room was clean with comfortable beds. I like that the sink area is separate from the bathroom so that one person can be doing hair and make up while the other is in the shower.

It was clean and quiet! The beds and pillows were super comfortable. Great staff. Good breakfast with variety. Super clean bathroom. Floors were in excellent shape and clean!

Very minor, but the bath towels were a bit thin and scratchy.

Manager allowed me to check in early even though we were not planning on checking in until we were done going to the tulip festival for the day. We checked in and then that evening when we were tired all we had to do was go to our room and not wait in line. Hotel was very crowded because of the tulip festival in town. Breakfast was really good. Room was very clean. Staff all very friendly and happy.
