Best Western Holiday Manor

Everything was awesome, starting with the nice appearance of the building as you pull into the parking lot. Then walking into the welcoming and spacious lobby, the colorful string lights going up the stairs gives such a homey and loving feel...total bonus points for that extra touch. Then the ease of check in and the kindness of the staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and nice. And finally, the breakfast was plentiful and again, the staff working the breakfast super helpful and kind. Everything about this hotel was fantastic. I am so glad we chose to stay here!! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!!

Overall excellent place to stay on our trip, and little extra distance from interstate much worth it. Place was relatively new, very clean, great bed & outstanding customer service at front desk. Breakfast was much better than the customary continental breakfasts at other motels. All in all a great place and value.

Disappointed pool was closed and had looked forward to using it. Given everything else being so good, I'm glad we chose this place to stay.

Love the people, location, and feel very safe staying there! Everyone when beyond there ability to be kind, very helpful, pleasant, and it truly reflected there love for there job!!! Excellent customer service from management on down!!! We can’t wait to stay there again next year!!! It will be our 5th or 6th year!!

This is our fifth time staying at this property. Every time has been a delight. From check in to check out all has been well every time. We've only been able to use the breakfast one time. The other times it was closed or empty. What's that honey

The bed was very hard. It even felt like we were rolling off of the sides of them. That needs to be addressed.

I left a very high priced hotel that wasn’t comfortable And treated me unreasonable and came here to a lower priced hotel that treated me amazing and had all modern handicap facilities larger room more comfortable bed and all working equipment to make my stay easier and more comfortable for my animals and myself thank you so much.

The property was clean and modern all the equipment worked the doors had automatic hand buttons and we’re not heavy and I was able to access all of them effortlessly

As u walk into the doors from the look to the feel as if u where in the mountains at a high end resort with staff members who give u that feel of calm and relax. To easy check in while awaiting ur warm cozy cabin feel room . I will b a regularly from here on out and once again the staff was amazing!!! Even breakfast attendants where as well😊

The property is clean and nice . The breakfast with “ Lucy” was great ! The staff is extremely nice and pleasant .

I didn’t like the location , we were traveling and probably 8 hours into our trip. I found this hotel on the website , I didn’t realize it was far from the highway. Although the location was not ideal, it is a nice hotel !

The hotel aesthetics are very appealing. Decor was nice and had a warm feeling to it. Breakfast was a typical hot breakfast with slightly varying menus throughout the week. Super clean! Great value, in fact, it's the best value near Des Moines.

Bed too firm. Could hear neighbors in the nextdoor rooms so walls are thin.

It was clean, well furnished, good breakfast, and polite staffing. The rooms were also cool (temperature). There was good parking available as well.

Trucks with trailers should not park in normal parking area? Makes navigating in and out difficult. Rooms advertised as queen but were full size.

I love all the Christmas decorations, the lobby always feels welcoming. The breakfast options are good, they always feel just a bit better than the average continental breakfast. The staff were friendly.

The mattresses were of a sort that seemed to magnify every movement.
