Quality Inn Dodge City

We drove from Cookeville, TN to Dodge City and didn't arrive until 1:45 a.m.!!! The night manager was super. He called us while we were on the road and asked about what time we thought we would arrive. I told him we still had 147 miles ahead of us and that it would be VERY early in the morning. He was so kind. He told us he would be here waiting for us and how to contact him when we arrived. True to his word, he was sleeping but came to the lobby when we called. He was great!!

The bed was a little lumpy but we slept fine. Other than that, the room was nice and clean and we were just very thankful we could find a room at such short notice. and so late at night. The motel is very close to Old Dodge City and all the action. We would recommend this motel to any traveler.

Room, bed, breakfast all great. Attentive to refilling food at breakfast. But over the top customer service when we left our 2 jackets in the closet. They called and said if we called UPS to email a label to them,, they would send our jackets back. This happened on Monday Oct. 11th. We made UPS arrangements on Tuesday. The hotel staff boxed up our jackets and dropped them at UPS. Got them back on Friday. My jacket is " sentimental " from a camping trip so very happy to have it back! Appreciated thoughtfulness and great communication of the staff.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Quality Inn at Dodge City. We ended up in what was the equivalent of a studio apartment at the end of the hall, having requested a king and quiet location. The motel had been refurbished with new carpet, paint etc. The halls were well lighted and the stairwells were wide and well lighted. The bathroom and furnishings were fresh. Staff was helpful with our check-in and recommendations for eateries. Location was slightly west of downtown on the main highway.

Given the effort that had been made to upgrade the room and halls, it was noticeable when a curtain was not properly hanging. This was a small thing, but these are the details that housekeeping should be on top of, since it would be a quick and easy fix given the quality of everything else.

The room and all the staff were goodness. Nice people.

I stayed at 5 hotels and Dodge was the only breakfast that did not offer pepper. Plenty of salt. I asked who I thought was the hostess and she said, no pepper. Why is pepper ditched at Dodge? I like pepper. I was a bit hacked off.

the beds were very comfortable and had the extra pull-out sofa to meet our needs. Grandkids loved the indoor pool. The hotel was close to the attractions we visited and a variety of fast food.

The room phone did not work. Too much water got on the bathroom floor while taking showers.

The hotel was easy to find, and in a decent location along the main street of Dodge City. Staff were friendly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and they had a very good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again when passing through.

We reserved a king room with a pull out sofa bed. There was no bedding in order to use the sofa bed for our son. They had an extra blanket, but no pillow or sheets. It was a bit disappointing, but we made the best of it.

Got locked out of room somehow the security lock along the top of the door managed to turn when we stepped out for breakfast. Luckly the lady at front desk and a housekeeper were able to open the door **Beds are higher than usual maybe a side step on one side to help us shorter people climb up lol

The room was bigger than I thought it would be. The bathroom was very modern. The breakfast was great. The staff available when needed. Most importantly, the hotel and the room were quiet.

There is not a thing I did not like

Someone actually called me after I booked the room just to confirm arrival time! Was traveling so we checked in late!

Someone parked their car in front of the hotel so you couldn't drive up to check in! That car was still there in the same spot in the morning when we checked out! The bed was hard & uncomfortable!

The breakfast was nice with cooked options. There was a nice pool and the hotel was quiet and clean with friendly staff. The room was big with plenty of space for us. The room had a microwave, fridge, TV. Complimentary toiletries and s spacious bathroom.

Nothing really
