Holiday Inn Express Northwest Maize, an IHG Hotel

Loved the place. It was a little far out but great value. It was clean and quiet. It is rather new so everything looks good. Easy access on edge of town. Peaceful and pretty place.

Parking was a little limited and a real fall hazard in shower. They need anti slip strips or mat to counter extremely slippery tub. Bed also felt very "used". Sure they were not new beds in our room. My bed had a big hole on left side but I slept great on right side.

Convenient to where I was going. I felt safe The GM was very helpful. I was there under extreme family concerns.

The breakfast staff was not friendly. She basically took food away from two ladies and their 3kids. It was still out then went to get a muffin and she grabbed to trays and said it’s closed. I was shocked by her behavior They are paying guests and the food was still out. Goodness

The hotel was close to our family event, the breakfast was great. The rooms were nicely decorated and updated.

The computer was down when we checked in so it took a little longer. Had to fill out a paper with information but were reassured the information would be shredded after the computer system was back up.

the location is great, a little out there on the edge of Maize, but still close to lots of restaurants and the shopping center. They must have had a busy week because the halls needed vacuuming and the dining area needed tidying. Breakfast was very full, ran out of coffee and most breakfast items. we did not see the pool or gym area, not sure how that was. But the hotel felt safe, you need the key to enter through any door. we had a quiet stay and the room was clean and comfortable.

It was clean and comfortable

I felt it was super expensive for one night. They also did not want to refill breakfast items 30 minutes before breakfast was to end so late sleepers got a terrible or no breakfast choice for the money. Also my key card kept losing its program whether I kept it in my wallet , my pocket or anywhere else. this happened 3 × 2 different cards. I had to keep going to the desk to get it reprogrammed to be able to get in my Room. I also requested early check in only to find the people were still in my Room and they couldn't find another Room that had been cleaned that didn't have people still in it 2 hours past check out time.

The room and facilities were lovely, clean, comfortable and the location was perfect and vey convenient

The breakfast bar. We tried, but had to go to Ihop. The coffee was good, but you need bands to go around the paper cups, I had to make my own.

Having a hot Breakfast available was great but staff couldn’t keep it up. Both mornings most things were out or unavailable but to be fair we were there with a bunch of high school boys who ate a lot.

The music in the lobby was a little loud, hard to hear when you checked in and hard to hear when visiting in the dining area in the evening. Pool room was so hot, it was miserable unless you were in the pool.

The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was fresh.

The room was great! However just a tad dirty for the price. I’m guessing they missed a few spots in the bathroom.

Close to the location of the Funeral Value was good

The breakfast was cold the 1st day But better the next day. My husband said the gravy wasn’t very hot

Rooms and hallways smelled clean & fresh. Bed was comfy and breakfast was good.

The building sits quite away back from the road and the sign next to the road is not lit up so it is hard to find the turn in.
