Hilton Garden Inn Wichita Downtown, Ks

The breakfast buffett was the standard you see in a hotel. There was nothing exceptional, but it was fine. The staff was outstanding, and went out of their way to be helpful.

My room faced Douglas Ave, and the traffic was a bit noisy in the evening. Local kids "drag Douglas" and there seemed to be motorcycle races on the street occasionally. Nothing the hotel staff could do about that though!!

The room and the staff were wonderful. The wait staff was nice also. They were kind and gave us a ride to InTrust for the concert we came to see. That was an added bonus.

The breakfast buffet was not good. The food was lukewarm and not as good as I would get at a lesser hotel. I was very disappointed. After waking up in a very nice hotel, the last thing you want is a subpar breakfast.

We ordered from the menu at breakfast. Received our items in a timely manner. Everything was HOT and FRESH! Staff very friendly and assisted with every question we had.

The room we had faced the street. It was like a drag race up and down, up and down. Some of it seemed deliberate. Would hope that the police could have a better handle on this in the future.

This was a beautiful hotel with a great location and parking was included. A great value also. We stayed here while attending a concert at Intrust arena and was able to walk to restaurants, bars and the concert. Breakfast was included made to order or buffet with a waitress, and it was delicious. Best OJ ever. Water and snacks in the room were a nice bonus also.

I have stayed at several Garden Inns across the country, and this is by far the best one! The staff is very friendly and helpful (except one issue - see below), communication was excellent even before the arrival. The hotel is conveniently located and has parking just next to it (city garage, but free for hotel guests). Rooms are not super-spacious, but decent size and well maintained, with pretty comfortable beds. Best thing - breakfast! I'm usually very skeptical about hotel breakfasts, but this one exceeded my expectations by a long shot!

The waitress in the restaurant was rude and unprofessional - but that was quickly handled by the manager. The A/C unit was tricky to adjust and the fan speed change didn't work. Otherwise, nothing that changes my mind about this being a very nice hotel.

We liked the mobile check in/out. The hotel was very clean and had everything we needed for our overnight. It was close to the venue we went to and lots of restaurants.

Nothing. We didn't have any problems. No complaints or suggestions.

location to IntrustBank Arena

The room was much narrower than other Hilton Garden Inns we’ve previously stayed in and the bathroom door was hard to open and close. The price seemed a little high. I realize that it was partially due to the proximity of the Arena but still seemed a little high.

The staff, all of them, where exceptional!! Facilities were spotless and everything worked. Bed was comfortable

The only thing that could have been better was the amount of noise pollution from the street in front of the building.

Breakfast was very good.

I was very disappointed that I booked a $154 per night room and felt bait and switch when the second night was charged at over $180. I am aware of the importance of reading the fine print, but very sad that it ruined what was otherwise a perfect stay.

Staff was very friendly and hotel was extremely clean and well kept.

Only problem was the noise level outside the building from traffic. It was a Saturday night, so lots of young people out around the area.
