Wonderful room! Newly remodeled and sparkling clean. New carpeting (thank you for that) and a lovely, updated bathroom. Also there were several restaurants within walking distance, which is always a plus anywhere. Unfortunately, when I travel I leave super early in the morning, long before breakfast hour, so I cannot comment on how breakfast is.

The bed was quite high-much higher than normal. I noticed management posted signs in reference to that, offering guests small footstools, if needed. I was fine with the high bed, just thought it was unusual. The other thing I noticed was the elevator and surrounding area looked a little shabby and in need of some TLC.

- clean - very friendly staff: Andrea one of the managers was so great! she was super friendly and gave me a free upgrade to a suite (I didn’t even ask) so my dog could be by the side door because she remembered he wasn’t a fan of going through the lobby when I stayed a week earlier and would bark at people :/ she was also great when I asked if I could switch rooms due to a lot of noise from side door closing and people upstairs and my dog was freaking out and I didn’t want him bothering people with barking. She got us into a suite on the top floor where it was much quieter for my dog. She also brought my dogs bone up to new room when I said I had forgotten it in first room(I had already turned in those keys) she offered to personally get it and deliver to new room! Not a lot of people/ hotel staff would go to lengths to do all that. That is great managing skills and a friendly personality at work:) I felt bad bc my dog is high maintenance at hotels because he is young and hasn’t experienced them very much (only one time prior) but she accommodated our needs very well without hassle or question! - Rooms were nice for the price - dog fee is only $25 which isn’t bad at all - Right by restaurants/ fast food and gas station all within walking distance - Nice breakfast (limited but perfect for me) - I didn’t use but there is a pool and fitness center - Felt safe as a solo women traveler

- ceilings are a bit thin I could hear loud stomping upstairs when I was in 1st floor room(not hotels fault but rather the people upstairs) - breakfast may be too limited for some people but they have a waffle maker, eggs, cereal, etc so honestly pretty good for a free breakfast. -

Room very, clean, Great shower, bed was not too soft, overall room exceeded expectations; loved the fridge overall very large for a hotel room and a big enough freezer to refreeze my cooler blocks. I could put everything in the cooler in the fridge over night. for a road trip this was great asset.

Breakfast was just okay, not as much variety as i would have liked, and the decor e xcept for the bathroom was a bit dated.

I liked the ability to get hot water all day for tea

I didn't like the GM (sounded like at least) berating an employee on the phone at the front desk. I have never heard the disrespect that the older white woman was talking about her employee like that. Then she began demanding that "Taylor" (?) go do things that was clearly already done if she had just looked first. It was definitely something that I won't be coming back for because if you treat your employees that way (in front of people or not) shows that you don't respect your customers.

The front desk attendant was awesome, very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom, which had been renovated was very nice and clean, however, the toilet didn't flush. Since we discovered it late in the evening, we decided not to call it in, and left a note in the room and reported it when we checked out.

The front lobby could use some refurbishing. The hallways and elevator needed some cleaning and also need some refurbishing. BUT, it's clear the hotel is in the process of updating, so given the bathrooms are being redone, it makes sense that the hallways and elevator are probably last on the update list, which makes sense.

Room was great, large, clean, recently remodeled as in so recent that the shower was waiting for the shelf. Beautiful shower, I took photos! All marble, not a tub, but a walk in shower... gorgeous! Rain type shower head was great! Also, our room was very quiet, did not realize how quiet till I opened the door and down the hall full remodeling was going on. Really noisy, but when I shut the door, did not hear a sound! Throughly enjoyed our stay here.

Newly remodeled shower had a leak at door level, reported to desk as remodel was new, hopefully could be fixed under warranty. Only other item noticed was room needed more than one trashcan. But very recent remodel so some items were still being waited on. Elevator was unavailable at one point, bringing panic to me as I can not do stairs, but turned out the remodeling crew had locked it. Was released as soon as I called... Other than that room was awesome! Enjoyed our stay.

The location was perfect, close to the highway, food and the event center. The evening shift front desk guy was very nice and helpful to everyone at a busy time when a lot of people were checking in and made sure the rate I was charged was correct.

The front desk manager was very negative and was complaining about the hotel and all the employees. It wasn’t a very good look for a manager. I’d say the other employees are likely working in a toxic work environment. If she talks like that in front of guests, what must she say when the guests aren’t around.

Very comfortable bed, room layout was great and clean! The bathroom was also clean and nice with a good layout. After a long day of driving - I could relax.

Coffee! Only decaf coffee available in the rooms. The coffee served for breakfast was VERY weak, too much water used to brew the coffee. This was my only complaint.

The room was very clean and comfy. We arrived late and went to bed. No breakfast was available when we left by 6:00 a.m. but they did provide us with coffee, tea, and juice. The breakfast area offered a great selection by 7:00 a.m. The check-in lady was a sweetheart! As was the helpful woman at the counter in the morning!

We wished we had arrived earlier to enjoy the unique Spangles Restaurant next door. 60's Ice Cream Parlor Theme. Also another ice cream place across the street!

Easy to get to for one night travel stay. Staff very courteous. Room quiet and comfy with microwave and small fridge. Breakfast was nice (eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, cereal). No one but us wearing masks, including staff, which was kind of weird, but there were not many around when we were. Only minor drawbacks were a few things about the bed. Mattress was very comfortable. Bed really high (they even have a sign you can ask for a step stool to get into it), the cover sheet not quite wide enough for 2 (queen bed) and the comforter very heavy for early Sept with no other real options than a sheet. Other than that, nice place to stop.
