Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Salina, an IHG Hotel

The business center was closed for renovations. I needed to print a 12-page document, and they let me do that with the printer in their office. Also, by mistake, I left a charger for a medical condition reporting device. It wasn't life-threatening, but they confirmed they retrieved the charger from our room, and pointed me to a service they use that quickly sent the charger to my home. On check-in, upon my request, they gave us a room farthest from the highway that was quiet enough to get a good night's sleep.

The extensive renovations ongoing at the motel were a bit of an eyesore, but didn't cause any significant problems for us.

Location to the interstate was perfect for our stop. Valerie went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. Room and facilities were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and was hot. There is something for everyone, simple but adequate. Very positive experience and I would definitely stay here again if I was traveling through.

There was an error in my prepaid booking.com reservation where the hotel had no record of it. I was able to call booking.com's customer service line, get priority attention using my confirmation number and pin associated with the reservation. The agent spoke with me and called the hotel immediately to resolve my issue. Again, Valerie went above and beyond at the hotel to make sure my family was taken care of. It was a minor inconvenience for which it was handled promptly and professionally on all sides.

Holiday Inn Express is my favorite hotel chain for these reasons: Rooms - consistently clean, soundproof and have in room coffee with fridge and microwave. Beds - firm, with pillows that range from flat to puffy Breakfast - decent variety (sweet breakfast options along with good protein options) great coffee and half/half For the extras: clean pool and hot tub - hot tub helps after a long drive. Service is always provided with a smile/courtesy Staying at HIE is worth the money.

It looked like the rooms were newly remodeled. We stayed here twice on our trip out west and back. The breakfast was one of the better ones we encountered on our trip. The hotel is right off the main highway and a short drive into town for shopping and restaurants.

Nothing really. The only problem we had was with our key cards but a quick trip to the desk took care of that.

The business center printer was broken, so the staff let me use their printer to print several files that I emailed to them. The location was ideal for important astronomical observations that we conducted north of Salina. The room was comfortable and fine for our needs.

The breakfasts were good enough, but on the last morning, I wanted some eggs, but they ran out and didn't replenish by the time I got there, half an hour before the end of their breakfast service.

The bed and pillows were so comfortable! The room was very clean. The staff were so friendly and efficient! The breakfast was very good! We loved the way the curtain kept the light out at night! And the amount of shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hand soap was very generous! Thank you for such a great overnight stay!

Good location, nice area, felt safe. Close to food and gas. Easy to find! Great for family-it was myself (mom) and my 7 children. Staff was great, easy check in. Easy check out. Pool was great-my kids enjoyed it. Breakfast was great. And actually, all of the other guests that we met were very friendly as well! Best experience at a hotel with my kids that we have had so far!

I cannot think of anything bad about our experience!

The front desk staff was very helpful, kind and accommodating. After driving 12 hours with 3 kids I was super annoyed that the tub wasn’t working. However, when I called to let the front desk know the tub wasn’t working they immediately gave us another room. We were already unpacked and most of us were ready for bed, so moving all our stuff was not an exciting idea. BUT again the staff went out of their way to make the move as painless as possible and moved us right across the hall into a suite.

The faucet on the tub in the room we were staying was broken, BUT when we called to let the front desk know they changed us rooms ASAP.

Very quiet and very clean. Remodeling going on and I believe we had a room that was recently completed. Even air-conditioning wasn't loud.

Bathroom could have better lighting. Those mirrors with lights in them don't give off enough light. Also we couldn't get the coffee maker to work.

It is in a very convenient location off I-70. Room was clean, quiet, bed was very comfortable. Staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast very good, especially during Covid times, great cinnamon rolls!

Choice of dining isn't the best in the area. The hotel was apparently full, didn't have hot water when tried to shower, waited about an hour and had a hot shower!
