The Whitetail Inn and Suites- Lincoln

I loved the quirks of the historical rooms and buildings, and was happy to see that the owners have not OVER modernized the place. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. Although our room did not have a private bathroom, it was great to have our own sink in the room.

We opted for a room with a shared bathroom, and next time will choose a unit with its own bathroom - only because on 2 of our 5 mornings, there was quite a wait. Otherwise, the bathroom was kept VERY clean, with plenty of towels and all the supplies one would need.

The room and lobby were exceptionally clean. Booking was easy and all information was spelled out clearly in the confirmation email. Location is great as it is on the same street as the local Walmart, Dunkin' Donuts and two restaraunts.

The only complaints I have is that there was no staff to be found. When "checking in" there was no one at the front desk. I rang the bell and still no one came. I was getting ready to pull my cell phone out and call when I noticed envelopes on the counter. Each of the room keys were in an envelope on the desk with names on them. I found this to be a little unsettling as anyone could just walk into the lobby, pick up and envelope, and let themselves into a room. We spent only one night here and both the internet and television didn't work. I couldn't get a hold of anyone to come fix it as I genuinely don't believe there was any staff present.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owner and his maintenance personnel were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. I spent several years here in my younger days, fishing, and wandering the woods. I never realized how much I missed it until I returned. If you want to experience the true Maine spirit, visit Lincoln.

The hotel was incredibly nice and quaint. The room was very nice and very clean, as well as the shared bathroom. The area had great accessibility to local restaurants and other accommodations. The staff at the hotel were magnificent! I forgot an essential item in my room, and the staff went out of their way to safeguard it until I was able to return to retrieve it.

Located practically in town but on a non-busy side street. We even saw deer while sitting on the outside deck. The building has obviously been carefully restored and remodeled. Room is small but comfortable. We never saw the hosts but check-in and check-out went very smoothly. No breakfast but coffee was available. Rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave, TV, WiFi available. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom had a roomy shower. Everything was very clean, up to date and quality. You can easily walk into town to browse the shops or have a meal (restaurants were all closed when we visited). We enjoyed our stay.

Since the restaurants were closed, breakfast, even pastries would have been a nice addition, but we managed and found something on the road on the route to our next destination.

The hotel is quaint. It is a gorgeous old Victorian home. It's self-check-in. I was called and given the code to the key locker. No person to check you in, hmm. OK. Bathroom was cleanish. Bed was okay. The room was tidy, but nothing extravagant. Water pressure was good and the temperature was good. The power went out overnight, and the:room was freezing. Do not expect a quiet night. It's not exactly sound proof. Traffic runs all night.

The two bedroom suite turned out to be the upstairs of a cool, old Maine house next to the Inn. What a lovely, spacious feeling! It was a classic Maine house with maple floors, and original woodwork. The kitchen and the big bathroom made us even more comfortable for our two-day stay. This was our first time at the Whitetail Inn and we will definitely return!

I couldn't have asked for better treatment or a more comfortable abode.

Location central to most businesses and eateries. It was quiet, clean and calm. Liked that the confirmation notice included details about business locations and phone numbers. Provided a nice guide.

Wifi directions in the room didn't match the wifi directions sent in the confirmation notice. Would have liked a small basket to throw away tissues and the like.

When we arrived the key was on the counter in an envelope. The entire time we never saw anyone working there except the grounds keeper. It was quaint and very quiet. We really enjoyed it.

The rooms are a bit smaller than I would like. There was no blow dryer LoL I stopped bringing one on vacation because everywhere we went they had one.

Easy check-in & check-out; coffee in lobby

Suite 23 had the bathroom as a walk-through room. To go from the kitchen in the front, you had to walk-through the bathroom to get to the bedrooms. So don't take #23. Super weird!
