AmericInn by Wyndham Bemidji

AmericInn Bemidji was very nice and a pleasant surprise after some disappointments along the way from western Washington to Minneapolis. The facility is newer and in excellent condition, and our room was very clean. The staff was very welcoming (we appreciated the cookies upon our arrival). The breakfast and the breakfast area were very good - much better than most. A good endorsement for AmericInns, which we had not tried previously. If you like ice cream, don't miss Big River Scoop downtown on Bemidji Avenue North - just be prepared to possibly stand in a long line.

No criticisms - a very pleasant facility and staff.

Love the Continental Breakfasts at hotels. Makes it so easy to grab a little breakfast & go. The people are really great that worked in the hotel? Rooms looked beautiful & spotless. My husband & I thought the Dove 9 ounce bottles of shampoo, conditioner & body wash in the shower in holders were the best thing ever. I really wished you could buy them from the stores. Not like a dispenser where you have to empty a bottle in.

Its hard to think of anything that was bad! We did find a taco in the microwave that people before us heated up & forgot!! was funny!

The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, we liked that it was pet-friendly.

The pillows are very small. I wishes we’d had standard sized pillows. The area surrounding the hotel is very loud between the cars, giant trucks and motorcycles. The AC in the room was very noisy and just kept kicking on and off all night, waking me up.

The pool and hot tub were great. The hotel is nicely positioned. The breakfast provided was a cooked breakfast and to a very high standard. Best we have ever had. The rooms and hotel layout were also at a high standard.

The staff didn’t point out that the rooms would not be serviced unless requested.

The location was perfect for us with lots of options for food. We choose this hotel based on the reviews of cleanliness and comfort, which were very accurate though the reviews were older. We came up to visit family and will be returning to stay here again, the breakfast was pretty decent too.

The sidewalks were snowy and could have been cleared better with snow melt put down.

Breakfast was easy to pass up, but what a great place to stay in a beautiful little city. wonderful location for us, walking distance to the walmart, target. nice room, a bit small but it was just the two of us. wonderful staff, clean and helpful, will stay again!

Busy location but convenient. Breakfast was above average for this type of hotel. Rooms were spacious and beds comfy. We liked it a lot. Pool was warm and hot tub hot just like we like it.

Size of TV could be bigger. Toliet could be taller with a better, sturdier seat.

we. we’re VERY upset that the bottom of the pool was brown. it looked like it needed vacuuming. we really wanted to swim

The location and staff were great

The beds and pillows were lumpy. The hot tub jets were not working and the pool had some discoloration on the floor of the pool.

We arrived several hours earlier than anticipated and your caring staff let us check-in. So appreciative of the accomodations.

Heavy perfume or room order spray. A little obnoxious not too overpowering to trigger my asthma.
