The breakfast is excellent. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff is always cheerful, friendly, and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect too, especially for this trip since were there for BSU's graduation.

On this trip, I traveled with my older mother, and I noticed that the tub was a bit slippery when I took a shower. She did not use the shower because there were no handrails in the shower or something grippy on the floor of the shower. My only suggestion would be to look into something that would help make the shower less slippery. We were just there overnight, so it was not a big inconvenience, but if we had a longer stay, it would have been more of an issue for us to deal with. As a young person, this isn't something I paid attention to in the past, but as my mother has gotten more unsteady, it's something I'm more aware of when traveling.

We really enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff were very accommodating and we were happy to get an upper floor room to decrease potential road noise. We had a beautiful lake view and enjoyed the sunset. The lakefront trail is accessible from the hotel and was a beautiful walk. It is a bit of a distance from downtown but we liked the quiet area and didn't mind driving in for dinner. You could also walk about 30 mins each way. The pool was great. The breakfast was the best we've had at a hotel - many hot food options, oatmeal bar, usual toast and treats, two coffee roasts, etc. Staff at the breakfast area were extremely friendly and ensured food was always fresh and available.

The room was very spacious, the view was beautiful, hotel was fairly well located to everything in town. The continental breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The hot tub/spa was wonderful.

The bed was hard and lumpy. I couldn't adjust the thermostat (had one on the wall but was set and couldn't adjust). The fridge was rather small.

It was so convenient being connected to the event center! It was so great to be able to walk inside to the show and then after the show, head to the Hotel bar/restaurant! The hotel room was perfect as well, nice and clean. Even the continental breakfast was great in the morning. I also was so impressed with the later checkout time of noon! Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming to stay again if we have an event in Bemidji to attend!

Michael was very friendly and checked us in without problems after we arrived late. During the next few days, Terri and another woman at the front desk were very helpful with tips on where to eat and what to see. The coffee is some of the best I've ever had; I drank too much of it every day.

The hot and humid weather but that's not your fault!

The location is very nice. The breakfast was fantastic.

The staff could not get the billing straight. I booked two rooms, one for me, one for my daughter's family. Upon check and check out, we both presented our credit cards, but both room charges we added to my card. Hopefully we can get it corrected.

Slow check in, could use more help when a large group checking in. There was only one desk clerk at the front desk trying to check in a very large group of people. Windows in the room did not open. Fresh air would have been nice. The windows were designed to open, hotel fixed them to be permanently closed.

The breakfast was good, but did lack supplies. The location is perfect for us - beautiful view of the lake and to see the city with the Christmas lights was very pretty. It's close to where our family is which is important to us.

The swimming pool area needed attention. Since it's a common place for guests to be, checking on the whole area is essential to keep clean. I alerted hotel staff that the pool area needed attention and it still wasn't completely cleaned up the next day. The elevator door was dirty and remained that way overnight. Especially with concern about COVID, the common areas should be attended to.

Clean, friendly, enough towels in the room, comfy, beautiful view.

Check in was a little stressful. 8pm. Got there with no one at the front desk. Rang the bell and waited several minutes. Called and watched the phone ring with no one answering. Waited several minutes. Rang the bell again, and finally someone came out from the back and checked me in. In total about 15 minutes of standing there waiting for someone after 13 hours in a car. A little stressful.

I enjoyed the breakfast and the pool a lot. The lobby and breakfast room are spacious places to gather with friends and family, to meet with someone, or to play a game. There is lots of glass to connect you to the outdoors. The paved path on the Lake Bemidji side is a perfect place to get some exercise. It is a great place to stay.

I wish children were not allowed in the hot tub. Parents let their toddlers run back and forth from pool to hot tub unsupervised, two's and younger just kept afloat by arm bands. From the pool, a toddler in the hot tub is not even visible. Besides. doctors used to say that it was unsafe for children to spend too much time in a hot tub, causing health risks. I often feel like the only mama watching those tiny tots, and I'm not their mama.
