Wingate by Wyndham Coon Rapids

Close to family. Close to restaurants. Close to retail stores if we needed anything. All staff members were very kind and helpful. It was very clean, even with a number of young baseball teams staying there for a tournament. And Taylor Swift was in town so we were very lucky to get multiple rooms for multiple nights.

We had one glitch with a noisy fan but they made a change of rooms very easy and the rest of our stay was great.

The fact that they're pet friendly. The pool was fairly warm and the hot tub was really nice. The room was a nice size with the king bed being comfortable. Also, there were multiple'handicap' parking spots. The housekeeping person that did our floor was always very pleasant.

There were no towels in the pool area on several occasions. Also, no sign to explain why not (if this was due to Covid or something else). The breakfast was just okay...however the bread selection could've been better (i.e.: no bagels). The typical waffle offering but on a couple of days there was no syrup so guests needed to ask the front desk. There was no breakfast meat offered either.

I actually like this hotel the location the staff I'm only disappointed that the pool is never open

I have been to this particular location a number of times unfortunately only one time has the pool been open and by the looks of things I don't think the pool will ever open again so I will actually be looking for a different location next time I'm in town

50% of the staff were exceptional. The pool and spa looked nice; unfortunately, it was quite busy and never got a chance to use it in my 2 week stay. The breakfast was decent compared to other places.

The other 50% of the staff could use improvement and learn from their coworkers. Unfortunately, I believe it's the senior staff that needs work. If you want quite, don't get a room with the view of the pool. Snow removal was terrible and dangerous walking.

The king bed was really comfortable. Everything was super clean and the room was spacious along with the furniture being nice. The bathroom was clean and there were sufficient towels. The front desk was welcoming. I would like to make a special shout out to the hardworking housekeeper, Christy. She was the only one on our floor but had a smile and a "good morning" when I passed by.

The only real thing I could say would be that the chair/ottoman could be replaced. It was worn and some stains on the ottoman. The lamp by the TV wouldn't turn on. Most likely, it was just a burnt out bulb. As you can see, not much was actually wrong.

Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff. It was nice having coffee and breakfast in the morning. The pool and hot tub were clean and the area was nice.

Next visit I would ask to not have a guest next door. During my stay guests in the room next to me came in around 2 AM and were loud. I don't think they realized how loud their voices were. They made quite a bit of noise in general and it went on for a long time. I didn't get back to sleep that night.

Location is great, the area is quiet and near lots of shopping plus close to the highways. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was outstanding. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection and was fresh and well maintained. The AC unit in the room is a little noisy, and it seems to be cold or hot & muggy.

Nothing I didn't like, but the front concrete is cracking and busting up and there are some signs of age that have not been addressed, but none of those issues impacted the quality of my room or visit.

Front desk friendliness on check-in Friday night and check out Saturday morning was exceptional because of the genuine sincerity of the lady in charge.

Friday night we were there had low occupancy however we were placed next to a room where the occupants seem to be quite noisy. The shower head was not very operable in the fact you cannot position it in a way that was easy.

The facility was very clean and didn't smell bad. My bed was comfortable and I slept great. This hotel is on a great location with many choices for food and shopping very close by. The staff was extremely helpful.

The walls are very thin. I could hear my neighbors conversations. There were a few mornings where they were very slow getting breakfast out and keeping up on replenishing items that were out.

The breakfast was excellent! The reception staff were extremely nice and helpful.

The carpet in the room could use good cleaning. It appears that regular maintenance of the hotel is being neglected, unfortunately if that continues the hotel will appear run down quickly.
