Super 8 by Wyndham Eveleth

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location. Would definately stay there again.

The walls aren't very soundproof - traffic, noisy plumbing, noisy guests. This was especially noticeable at night when AC would stop blowing. On night two, we changed the settings on thermostat so that fan ran steadily throughout night (white noise) which made it much easier to sleep.

It was a nice clean hotel at a convenient location. We were visiting the nearby town of Biwabik, where nothing was available, so were lucky to find it. The room was made available to us 1 hour earlier upon request. The breakfast was good.

There were 3 of us. The room with two beds and one chair was a tight squeeze. The guest laundry room was out of order. There wasn't really a lounge except for 3-4 chairs between reception desk and swimming pool. Also no elevator; luckily it is only a 2-storey building and we had little luggage.

We booked this hotel room last minute not recognizing that weekend was the Duluth Air Show and hotel rooms were sold out everywhere. From the sounds of it we received a last minute cancelation. We visit the area frequently from Southern Minnesota to visit family in a nearby town. This location was busy with guests, but the service from the young desk attendants was excellent. Our young children enjoyed the pool and the hot tub was very relaxing for me. The landscaping outside the hotel was the best I have ever seen. I took many photos of the beautiful blooming flowers. The lobby area was very cozy and I loved the theme. For the age of the property I was impressed by all the updates and the fact everything was in working order through out the building. We had breakfast as a family in the morning and I enjoyed teaching our children how to make waffles. By far this was the best experience I had at a hotel in many years and I will happily return to this location.

When we went to the breakfast area in the am many of the food items needed restocked. It was a very busy weekend so it makes it was not hard to understand why, but we were originally told they were out of pancake syrup and frosted flakes cereal and as we almost done eating someone came in and restocked these items.

This is a Super 8. We are used to staying in Marriotts. This hotel is much nicer than what you might expect in a Super 8. The outside is beautifully maintained with a garden and a little seating area. It is just plain pleasant to stay.

Location was crowded since the room was SO small. I would have liked healthier choices. My waffle wasn't done on the inside.

The check in process was horrendously slow--and there didn't seem to be a reason why it wasn't efficient. The clerk was trying her best but the computer seemed to be super slow

Very clean.

Breakfast was bad. Coffee was bad. Food was bad. We went to Caribou and the grocery store and came back and got plastic spoons to eat our food. BUT we only stay at this Super 8. We usually stay at Marriotts. This hotel is much above the standard for Super 8.

Breakfast was fine and my girls loved having lots of hot chocolate. The location was great and close to family. It was also clean without lots of noise.

My kids were hoping for a deeper pool. It was nice so I didn't have to worry to much about them. The room was also a little crammed but we did make it work.

The beautiful landscaping, the welcoming staff. How clean everything was. The comfortable bed and very nice bathroom and shower. Plus the delicious breakfast! It was a welcoming and relaxing place to be after a rough camping trip.

Hotel was clean and quite, convenient and affordable. Staff was friendly when I checked in, and everything was as expected. Room had everything I expected and was nice considering the price

When I checked out the woman at the front desk was wearing ear buds and listening to music while she helped me. Not very professional and not a great impression to leave guests with.

The staff was amazingly friendly. We were greeted by a very warm employee who after checking us in, offered some soup and/or chili for dinner. We were surprised by the offer and so enjoyed it. Everything else from the room, dining area, breakfast, pool were top notch.
