I enjoyed the value for the location, and the Wi-Fi there was excellent, I’m a gamer and it never dropped connection while I was playing though it seems mostly every other hotel does. I was ecstatic when I found this place. Very clean rooms and I loved the room key, it had a vintage look to it, being it was a legit key with the metal oval with the room number. It was great!

The only thing I could say would’ve been better was the rooms are a tad small, if I would’ve been traveling with another person it would’ve been cramped for the two of us, but still a great place overall.

Easy online booking. Fair price. Friendly and courteous staff. Room was clean as were linens and towels. Fresh towels daily. Bottled water for making in-room coffee was a nice convenience. Central location and convenient parking. Quiet after 10pm policy was effective in insuring a good night's sleep. Large screen TV with cable was nice. Easy checkout- just leave key in room.

Would have appreciated the bed being made up daily.

Walking distance to downtown, several parks, paved walking/biking paths grocery store and ice cream stand. Bathroom was recently updated.

Curtains did not block out parking lot lights. Air conditioner didn’t seem to be working properly. The room was cool but still humid. Very small refrigerator.

It was perfect! Clean! And easy to find. The people were friendly who worked there and other guests too! Close to grocery store....across the street! We were heading to lake vermilion on a houseboat trip so it was great! 30 minutes away AND the guys caught the Hockey hall of fame even! 15 minutes away! Everything we needed, they accommodated with a smile.

This is a charming old-style motel in a fabulous location - right between 2 lakes. The room construction appeared to be 'original', but was very clean and in good condition. Our 2nd floor room opened onto a balcony and had chairs to relax and look out over the highway and lake.

This motel is located right on the shore of one of Virginia's 2 beautiful lakes, but has no amenities facing the lake. Only the bathroom windows open in that direction and there is not so much as a picnic table for guests to enjoy that space. Seems a lost opportunity.

There is a porch in front of second floor rooms that you could sit at and view the lake. Rooms are small but comfortable. Quiet at night. Close to downtown Virginia.

Could use one more bar of soap for shower. Some of the light bulbs burnt out.

Very quiet. Super clean. Although this place is dated the owners obviously have taken very good care of it. We were very pleased to find it so well kept. Great price too.

We generally go through Virginia on our annual family fishing trip but the parking isn’t roomy enough for a lot of boats.

The room was clean and looked recently remodeled. Access to the state ATV trails and Gilbert Mn state offroad recreational area was easy.

Couldn't access the ice machine after check in office hours.

The full kitchen could prepare our own meals air conditioner in every room was more like a 1 bedroom apartment was peaceful private entrance good location by 2 lakes a grocery store gas station and park

That we had to leave to come home

The staff when we first arrived were absolutely friendly and wonderful. The room was nice and simple which is exactly like we wanted... just needed a place to rest our heads at night since we were out exploring all day. Will definitely come back here again.

The only possible thing I can think of was the parking, but that wasn't a big deal really.
