Hilton Minneapolis

Love staying here! Have stayed here a few times before and this is my go-to place in Minneapolis. Staff here are really nice, consistent and go all out to ensure your stay is pleasant. I came down to the front desk a few times, as I was having problems printing stuff out at the business center, and the guy at the counter helped me out (wish I got his name). He was there all night and was always cherry and friendly, and got me more towels, a shower cap, etc. They used to have shower caps in the room, but now if you need one, you can get one at the front desk. The cafe at the lobby has amazing deserts; the flourless Chocolate Cake is to die for.. The guy running it is really friendly, efficient and polite. Love how the hotel is connected to almost everything with the Skyway - easy to head to the IDS center, to grab Starbucks or pop into Walgreens. Housekeeping are really nice too; happy to give more towels, and very sweet/professional. Looking forward to my next stay!! 👍🏼😁

There needs to be a better system with the fridge - like a proper working fridge is quite a necessity, especially if you are there for 3-4 days...

Great location with nearby parking ramp and safe also. I appreciated that no one could access upper floors with the elevator without a key card

Maybe could use a little more security or watchful eyes on the lobby at night with the bar. My only drawback which I don’t blame the hotel for but would extend awareness is that coming back from The Armory with my teenage daughter a drunk man approached me in the lobby, was inappropriate I would say, and followed us to the elevators. So we went and stayed in the bathroom until he wasn’t there. Maybe just have security in the lobby watch a little for those things at bar close but otherwise everything about our stay was phenomenal

The hotel is a very lovely hotel. Nice decor and clean rooms. Breakfast restaurant was good with good customer service, unlike the dinner restaurant.

We got in late on a very freezing night and decided to have dinner at the hotel. What a mistake we made! The dinner that was served was horrible that my husband didn't touch his. Lack of care and customer service. The guys at the restaurant didn't have a clue at all. One staff said they had what we wanted, the other staff said a different thing. It was a back and forth thing. In the end, we were served steak that smelled like a meat gone bad and veggies slapped on the plate like something straight out of a bag. This was nothing like any other Hilton we've been to. Well, it was our first time staying at the Hilton in the US.

No free coffee or tea was a bummer! They have updated and it looks way more modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed a $20 bike taxi that took us to the Viking's Stadium! Best ride ever! Hell' s Kitchen Restaurant is only 2 blocks walking and well worth the trip! Beautiful view of the city at night. Little pricey, but everything is!

No free coffee or tea. Couldn't drink my own beer on outside patio. Had to buy a $ 7.00 beer at little restaurant. I paid for the room to enjoy sitting outside, but couldn't afford the beer! So, won" t be back!

Close to the Armory where we were attending an event. Clean and spacious rooms. I used the Hilton app too, so check-in and check- out were a breeze!

It was a busy weekend as there was a football game that day, but coffee shop line(s) were long and confusing. Waited in line for 30 minutes for coffee only to move a few feet - so we unfortunately left the line that we were in, only to see a second line formed that was moving faster! Wait for the elevators were also very long, even though there were multiple elevators. Parking was also very confusing. We parked in a ramp we thought was connected, but it was not, so we had to walk out in the bitter cold to the entrance of the hotel.

Location and parking

I forgot my beard trimmer behind and don't like the process to retrieve it. I had a contact in the area willing to pick up the next day but calling the hotel and sending me to a central clearing website wasn't the appropriate approach to locating it. It is 4 days out now and still do not have confirmation the hotel has it and I can get it back. More personable service and working harder to get an item back to the patron is desired.

Love staying here - everything works - seamless. Staff are always polite, super professional, friendly and willing to help. I have stayed here a few times before, and they always get me on the floor that I prefer, etc. Appreciate how they pay attention to details. The cafe at the lobby is wowwww. Staff there are always so friendly, helpful and love the breakfast burrito, chocolate cake and all the other pastries. Everything’s fresh, yummy and affordable too. Opening hours were extended, and they put a microwave outside so you can use it to re-heat takeout, etc. Housekeeping are always really happy to give more towels, soap, etc. Rooms are comfy, beds are just the right height, lots of sockets everywhere.

There really needs to be a proper fridge. TV channels could have more options.

Beautiful room with LOTS of space. The bed was comfortable and the sitting area was a great addition as I spent quite a bit of time in the room.

Lack of room service, only 1 elevator to guest rooms left me with a very long walk back tracking. It was difficult to find the checkin desk when I first arrived.

Location to downtown destinations is great. Rooms are very comfortable (great pillows). Bar location is convenient, central, and a great place to hang out and congregate.

Bar closes early on an event night, and is understaffed for pre-event check-in. Check-in line is very long, and was also understaffed (it's a challenge everywhere).

The breakfast and breakfast staff were absolutely wonderful. The room was very clean and very comfortable.

The parking was pretty confusing a bit more explanation of that would be nice. Plus the staff desk was really out of the way and didn't seem that attentive. Otherwise it was a great stay.
