The one bad thing I have to say is not about the hotel. Unfortunately it was some of the people staying there. It is no fault of the hotel. There are some things you can't just help.

The property is dated but you can tell they are working on updating the location. Bathroom had new tile, shower curtain/rod and toilet. Beds were comfortable.

Great road trip hotel. Clean, great staff, no complaints. Breakfast was adequate - waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, yogurt, etc.
I like a firm mattress and this was a bit squishy. I still slept ok.

We did not party in the breakfast. The location was fantastic everything you could need was basically within walking distance which was very convenient. Room was clean staff was very friendly.
I ended up reserving the room for another night they had me go through booking.com to reserve but the price was was way higher for the additional night. The one night alone was almost the same as what I paid for two nights the first time.

Inside was remodeled and very nice. The employees were friendly and helpful.
Outside appearance was old looking and landscaping/mowing/parking lot was terrible. Had bad feelings about this place when first arrived.

The Breakfast options were good and clean. I felt safe eating the food despite the pandemic. The coffee was fresh and they had everything well stocked. The room was very large and very nice. It was a wonderful stay.
I would have liked more room options, since I really did not need two beds. No complaints on the price though!
