Bozeman Lewis & Clark Motel

I have been debating whether to tell the world about this wonderful gem... It truly was one of my highlights of this trip. I could not ask for better service. The staff listened, was always attentive, and went beyond my expectations. The location is beyond perfect. The rooms are amazing, quiet, clean, excellent and comfortable beds. The pool, sauna and hot tub are a hidden secrets in Bozeman. And lastly, the owner is one-of-a-kind. So you see fellow traveler, this Motel is everything you want in Bozeman. I have no negative feedback. I felt VIP in Bozeman!

Nothing, I would stay more nights if I had more vacation.

I must say, it was an enchanting experience that left me utterly captivated. From the moment I stepped into the grand lobby, I was enveloped in an aura of timeless elegance and sophistication. The attention to detail in the hotel's design is simply exquisite, seamlessly blending modern comforts with a hint of old-world charm. The tastefully adorned rooms are a haven of tranquility, offering a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the eucalyptus steam room, a fragrant haven that enveloped me in a cloud of revitalizing scent. The gentle mist combined with the aromatic eucalyptus oil worked wonders on my senses, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed in a way that I hadn't experienced before. It was as if the worries and stresses of the day were being gently carried away by the steam itself. The Lewis & Clark Motel truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The attention to detail, the impeccable cleanliness, and the thoughtful amenities created an atmosphere of pure indulgence. But beyond the physical aspects, what truly set this experience apart was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every interaction felt like a heartfelt connection, and their dedication to ensuring my comfort and enjoyment was evident in every gesture. In a world that often moves too fast, the Lewis & Clark Motel is a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation. It's a place where time seems to slow down, and the cares of the world are left at the door.

Hotel provided an incredible stay. The downstairs facilities were incredible with robes available for your use. We used the steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi. The pool was open as well but we didn't want to put in the effort of swimming, just wanted to relax and it was such a treat at Lewis and Clark! You find touches of luxury here that you would find only in higher priced hotels. The rooms have large sliding door access facing the mountains, What an incredible view! Beds were comfortable too! We loved the welcoming little treats in the lobby. The owner is extremely friendly, makes you feel right at home! The history of the hotel is very charming! There is a locked glass refrigerator carrying small bottles of alcohol in the lobby which is convenient, just ask the person at the desk and they will add the charges to your room! Grocery store across the street! We will return!

The lobby had antiques and cozy places to sit which we could not fully enjoy. We would have preferred to have the small tables next to the chairs cleared of magazines and stuff so we could set down our small snacks or drinks. Maybe this was to discourage anyone to leave crumbs or stain the tables? But a beautiful lobby filled with treasures encourages sitting down and relaxing. If only the lobby chairs had more space to be moved around, the relaxing factor would have gone up a few more notches, the way they were positioned felt a little bit confining.

We stayed here before and after our backpacking trip in Yellowstone. I liked it before the trip and liked it even more after the trip!!! Hot tub, steam room, comfortable bed were amazing. Staff were exceptional and they also held some stuff for us when we were at Yellowstone. One of the best hotel experiences I have had.

We love the location to Main Street and the University. The pool and spa was a great treat. We love that it's not a chain, but a locally owned company.

Nothing! It was great. Everyone is friendly. Room was clean and perfect for our needs. Even had a grocery store across the street. So there was nothing we would change.

What a fun place to stay in Bozeman! The sign is a great nod to nostalgic motel. The lobby area is decorated so beautifully, snacks and drinks available. Friendly staff. Stairs or elevator to reach the pool/workout room in basement. The pool area is unexpected! Changing rooms, hot tub, and eucalyptus steam room. We stayed on the main level. The most comfortable beds we've had in a hotel/motel in long time. TV on a music channel when we entered... a nice welcome.

The doors into rooms are sliding doors, that on main level look out on sidewalk and cars parked right there :) They lock, so it's all safe, but definitely felt cold, even with the great darkening shades (we stayed in mid-March). Just be aware. Definitely NOT a deal-beaker, we love this place and will always try to stay here when we come to Bozeman :)

The beds and pillows were amazing. I think it’s time to update the furniture in the rooms however. My husband and I are graduates of MSU, class of 1992 we brought our son to Bozeman for his college tour and wanted him to see the Lewis and Clark. Loved seeing the phone still in the bathroom. 😂 The breakfast was good, I prefer the healthy grab and go and loved the nice coffee bar.

Everything was fine, we like the nostalgia of the hotel. You’ve made some nice changes but would say it’s time for the 1970’s furniture to go. It would be nice to have some furniture besides a desk chair to sit on.

The staff was so friendly and attentive. The beds were so comfortable. The pool area with hot tub and eucalyptus infused steam room was spa like. Each time I left my room I was meet with the smell of fresh flowers from the beautiful hanging flower baskets. The attention to detail and personal touch from Lisa and her staff was evident during our entire stay. The location was close to all we needed to do while in Bozeman. I loved my time at the L & C and look forward to staying here again.

The room was large, with a nice ceiling fan overhead. Beds were comfortable and site was convenient to downtown. Loved the pool area and the many choices for a fast breakfast. Also, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The big marquee sign was fabulous…a touch from the old days.

Our rental car got hit in the parking lot during the night, so that was a bummer!

What an absolute gem of a place! I have never stayed in such a special hotel before. It is so unique and charming, with so many little details and beautiful extras that make you feel like a VIP. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating, she made our entire family feel right at home after long drive. The pool, sauna and hot tub area are just incredible -- beautifully maintained and absolutely luxurious. We left feeling rejuvenated and refreshed!
