La Quinta by Wyndham Butte

Out of 7 hotels we've stayed at during this vacation, this was the best by far. Great staff, very clean facility and room, good sized room decorated nicely. A comfy bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic. Waffles, cheese omelets, bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy, fruit, cereals, oatmeal (not instant), yogurt, breakfast bars and muffins, breads, bagels, great selection of flavored coffee creamers. Easy to find and quiet. Plus it was a great value; one of the less expensive hotels we stayed in this trip. Highly recommend.

No close restaurants within walking distance, but the hotel is so great, it more than makes up for it. An easy chair in the room would have been nice.

The hotel was clean and the room was nice. Quiet was our biggest concern. It was very quiet. Dog friendly. Good property up back parking lot to walk the dog.

I was charged twice for my pet fee. Still waiting for a reply from hotel. The upper back parking lot had poor security with man in the bushes, another ran by us and threw a cup at us and yelled incoherently. Appears to be a drug problem that is not being addressed, area not secured. I was out often to walk our dog. No dog poop bags up in back parking where everyone was taking their dogs out.

clean, clean, clean and comfortable. the staff was efficient, friendly, and helpful. We slept well and love the lemon sage products in the bathroom.

The refrigerator was very small and tipped forward if you leaned on it. We are on a multi-day road trip and find a refrigerator with a freezer a huge plus. This one had two options-chill for 2 hours or run for 8 hours, a new choice for us in our travels. otherwise it was great.

Very friendly staff. Really appreciated the upgrade we got. Pet friendly which is essential for us. Have stayed here multiple times now.

We appreciate all the grass for our dogs. However it is strewn with pet waste. Suggest putting up signs for lazy pet owners as well as providing waste bags and garbage can right there. They could mark off a small area of upper lawn to keep maintenance down.

The room was very large, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room had good facilities and a great shower. Breakfast was good, self service and it was nice to be able to have cereal.

It's not a big negative, but we just wanted to change the way we paid, perhaps being slightly awkward, but it didn't go how we wanted it.

The person who greeted and assisted us with check in was very courteous and helpful. When we expressed concern about an odor in our room (smoke?), she immediately upgraded us to a nearby suite.

The building is dated and in need of a refreshing. Cleanliness was good, but not great. The only ‘staff’ that we saw was a very helpful woman who is apparently the manager, front desk attendant. She even laid out and attended to the breakfast. Apparently this person is working from 7AM to 11 PM without any additional staff support? I think that she is your “employee of the year”!!

I asked for a 1st floor room and he was able to accommodate one I could drive around and enter without stairs or elevator. The breakfast room was comfortable and attendant kept things stocked. Room was clean!

Room was a little cramped...mostly between the TV stand and beds. There was an extra stand and lamp...not really needed that took up room. Beds were OK...seemed smaller than queen size.

All of the staff were very nice and accommodating. Views were spectacular.

The units heat pump was loose from the wall and was allowing cold air around the seal with the wall. The toilet was rocking when sitting and the shower water fixture was loose. When shutting the flow off for the shower head, the valve would pop out of the wall. And most of the wall outlets would not properly hold the plug in them.

Moses, the front desk person was very friendly and helpful!

To my pleasant surprise the room came with a Keurig type coffee maker with 3 different pods included. Why didn't you go a step further and make the pods decent tasting coffee? Black Rifle for example.... the 24hr coffee in the breakfast area was worse than church coffee......want to be the leader of the pack....offer good tasting coffee!

The hotel is older but well maintained. The room was clean and comfortable. The water was off when we arrived and the manager offered to find us another hotel. The breakfast area was nice and there were sufficient choices for breakfast.

The rooms could use some upgrading and the location is a bit awkward.
