Hampton Inn Hastings

The friendly staff made me feel welcome after a very long drive. The hotel is clean and very comfortable.

I like the location of the hotel. Cassie who was working the front desk when we arrived was very friendly and helpful, she even offered to help carry her stuff to our room. You never get that at a hotel. And the tornado sirens went off and she was very prompt about getting us to a safe spot and then letting us know when we could get back in the pool. And I really appreciate every time we come in and out she greeted us, there was a couple of the other staff that did not.

I don’t like the fact that there’s no rooms right by the pool and the luggage carts for guests to use I don’t like those either. I wish they had the ones with the flat bottoms, they work so much easier when you have a lot of stuff to take up. I didn’t like that a couple of the staff were sitting at the desk we walked in but didn’t greet us, they didn’t even look up arachnologist we walked by. I feel like that’s a big thing in customer service at a hotel

We were late for the breakfast but it did smell good. They had everything you needed to make a great breakfast! The staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff needs to be a little more aware in each room. The top of the bed headboard was dusty and the bedspread or comforter could have changed. Other than that our stay was rather pleasant!

That the comforter was dirty and we missed breakfast.

The employees were very welcoming! When we first arrived, we discovered our thermostat was broken, but they got it fixed quickly! Also, the breakfast was amazing!! They were always making sure things were stocked! Our room was very spacious

Beds are a little on the harder side.

It was worth the $120 in my opinion, very comfortable bed, nice room, large, we didn't go into the pool, but it was nice and warm in the pool room, friendly staff, nice breakfast, very filling. Would stay there again!

The only complaint I heard all night was "Would be nice if they had a hot tub.

New property, so everything is clean and there’s a ton of charging ports for your electronic devices everywhere. Breakfast was really good, staff was attentive and helpful. The swimming pool area was clean and tidy.

Super minor thing, wish we could cast to the TV instead of just being able to watch what’s on cable.

Room was great. Pool was nice. Fitness room was also nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything seemed clean and in good condition. We enjoyed our room.

I'm sure covid is to blame however breakfast was really lacking. The only drinks available were warm bottles of water and coffee. There was cereal available but no milk. Otherwise there was waffles (which I can't imagine being covid friendly with everyone touching the waffle maker...any better than touching the juice machine or any other breakfast areas), dry cereal, cereal bars, yogurt and muffins.

The breakfast was awesome! The room was perfect, exactly as expected. Very comfortable stay. I will definitely stay here again.

We had registered for four people to be staying in our room and only had 4 towels. We did go down to the desk and ask for more but it would have been nice to just have a couple of extra towels to start with.

Basic American breakfast, choice and quality was good

Booked a king size, however, for some reason this was not available when we arrived.

I was very pleased with the friendliness of the staff, ease of checking in, quiet environment, good breakfast choices, and excellent location.

I wish there had been mask requirements in public areas.
