Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Sidney

This place is clean! Gal working the counter was great!!! I explained that we broke down at the truck stop across the way and asked if she had a room in eye shot... She did and put us in it!! We slept well knowing our vehicle was safe! The staff make this place!

Breakfast was odd and limited. We don't like oatmeal and that seemed to be the grand finale... With that being said it was clean! The gals working the breakfast area were on top of it.

Newer property, everything was modern and bright. The beds & bedding were AMAZING. Walls were well insulated, never heard outside noise. Excellent breakfast choices with items available for restricted diets (i.e. gluten free items, soy milk, turkey sausage) all in addition to regular choices. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They took Covid precautions seriously, only allowing one room at a time to use pool.

The modern well-equipped bathroom was strange because the shower-head was at least 7’ over the floor of the extremely slippery tub. No anti-slip mat was provided and we were both unable to adjust the uncomfortable spray from the shower head. There was no grab bar at all in the combo tub/shower. In this litigious age you’d think hotels would do everything possible to avoid a slip & fall injury.

The property is a very modern. The lobby was very clean. The hotel provides a standard breakfast.

This property abuts a Walmart store. The parking lot was filled with large 18 wheel trucks. The parking lot also had several people who were begging for money, stating they were stranded. It felt a little unsafe. I provided photographs for the front desk staff at check out showing that there was a large gap between the shower walls and the shower pan that needed caulking.

Although COVID has changed so many things this hotel tries to bring about normalcy. Check in was slow but the hardworking lady working evening was very shorthanded. I felt bad for her, she was hustling and did a very good job of staying gracious. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy but they did their best. Overall room was nice, comfy and clean. Would highly reccomend.

We were on a road trip and we stopped at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Sidney, Nebraska for the night. It was very clean and comfortable. Exactly what we needed after driving 10 hours in snow and high winds.

Would have been great is if there was an on site restaurant!

The staff was amazing. The breakfast was great. The rooms were very nice. The bathrooms were immaculate. It is conveniently located. They were so nice and allowed us to have a small graduation party in the breakfast area.

The rooms are very clean, beds are so comfortable, the people are wonderfully friendly. The bathroom looked and felt very clean. Just an overnight stay after driving all day was a true respite.

The only thing I didn't like was the shower. The shower head had only two settings: pulse and a fine mist. Neither were very comfortable and the showerhead was up so high, I could barely reach it to try to adjust it. I don't remember if it was the same when I stayed there last time. In the scheme of things it's a small issue, but the morning shower was not very refreshing.

By far, the best accomodations of our entire trip. The breakfast was great! Lots of variety and the dining area was very clean and spacious.

Been staying here since it opened several years ago. on our travels we always try to stay in Sydney so we can stay at FIS!!

Clean and quiet room with comfortable beds. Clean bathroom Parking on site with plenty open spaces even when arriving at 11PM.
