Alamo Inn

We (including pet) were on a drive from West to East coast and needed only a basic place to stay for the night. We had no expectations but this was perfect! Very spacious room and bathroom, very clean! The owner was very helpful with our delayed checkin-time. and he also offers free fresh-brewed coffee from 6 a.m which is amazing! All in all our stay made our travel so much easier and nicer :)

I didn't have cell service here so good wi-fi was a must. Thank goodness it worked without problems. Location near the only gas station / grocer in town was as convenient as it could be in Alamo. Owner is super nice and friendly. No alien abductions occurred during my stay.

Somewhat lacking in flat surfaces for putting down my stuff. I had to use the space on top of the microwave for putting food containers and water bottles; most of my bags had to sit on the floor. Shower was pretty cramped and the water was tricky to control.

I loved the cozy atmosphere and the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone I came in contact with. I was able to back up to my door, and unloading was so easy!

As I would go back, this isn't really applicable. The carpet was stained, but that was fine by me! I really felt comfortable there!

There was no breakfast, but there was coffee at 6am. The room was cleaner than I expected for a little motel in a small town. I loved the sitting areas outside. Staff was friendly enough. I'd definitely recommend as a good alternative to a stay in vegas if you're traveling a long distance.

Being a big city dweller and a little anxious, it made me nervous that the room was unlocked and the key was left inside for us. It made me feel the need to check the room out for strangers before I felt safe enough to relax.

Fast, friendly and courteous staff. Room was large, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and had ample amount of pillows. Coffee available at the office. Bathroom had plenty of shampoo and toiletries. Ample parking both in front of room. Reasonable rates and will definitely stay there again.

Very neat little place. It was clean and the people were friendly. The rooms are all themed, we stayed in a room decked out with USA stuff. I recall there was a Vegas Strip room, and an Egyptian room. I look forward to stopping back there and getting a different room. It was clean, comfortable and affordable. What more can you ask for in a small town?

Strong perfume-ish smell in the hallway. It was better than smelling like smoke or trash, but it was a bit heavy. Not a big deal though.

The Alamo Inn is a great place to stay when traveling up and down Hwy 318. It sits almost at the halfway point between Las Vegas and Ely. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly.

I have chronic back pain and some of the beds can be a little uncomfortable. I always request extra pillows because the pillows on the beds can be a little flat. The showers are really small.

Perfect location to stop over for the night on a drive through the Nevada desert. Room was comfortable clean and there was a nice outdoor seating area. The market/gas station up the road had everything you needed. Friendly staff (family) and good coffee in the AM. I would stop here again on my travels.

Towels were a bit small.

No breakfast but coffee was good. The owner/manager was so friendly and helpful. He loaned us some nice wine glasses so we didn’t have to drink our wine in paper cups. Very accommodating and pleasant.

Shower was pretty small and it was somewhat fickle in terms of getting the water temperature just right.

No breakfast included but hot coffee was available in the hotel lobby. The owner/operator of the motel was very helpful, professional and friendly. We were able to park directly in front of our room which made for easy unloading and loading.

The shower was very very small but was nice and clean.
