The historic charm, the property really represents old Vegas as it is Vegas's oldest operating hotel and casino "not the first". The style has a Knotts Berry farm feel to it, so I'm a fan. I like the old fashioned decor and it is a compact micro hotel. So not a lot of walking. It isn't an old outdated oversized behemoth of a property like the Sahara or the Rio. And it is located in the very heart of the Fremont St experience which keeps me very entertained for free. The guests seem to be a mostly older and mature crowd. where as the D Hotel attracts a lot of heavy drinking trashy tourists. No resort fees!

For it's value, I really can't complain. But there is certainly is more room for improvement. However if the owners invested more money into the property, then the already reasonable rates would increase. It would be cool if the whole staff had the same uniforms from 1932.

Location was great. Right on Freemont street. Quick walk to many restaurants and Walgreens. Room was spacious and price was great!

The room I had was above the street, sometimes I could hear street sounds, but it wasn't bad enough for me to not want to stay there again.

The guy at reception was really nice and I appreciated his honesty that it would be noisy (St Patrick's day) but that my room was as quiet as they could offer (it was fine with the AC unit acting as white noise and ear plugs). The room was really clean. The location was right in the middle of everything and the entrance felt safe for a solo female arriving alone on foot. The bus stop to the airport was right outside too.

You don't need a card to use the elevators to rooms so anyone could be in the corridors in theory. The room, though clean was smallish and dark.

great location, right on Fremont street. the room had all necessities for a short stay.

the room seems a bit outdated. I could hear the outside noise in the room, so you can imagine the proximity to Fremont street wasn’t really enjoyable during the night.

Convenient parking, refrigerator, comfortable bed,and helpful staff. Given free slot play at their players club. Ended up winning some money. The a/c system worked very well and the shower had adequate pressure and warm water. Location fantastic close to all downtown casinos and attractions. A post office is also very nearby. The Apache has a good restaurant and lots of gaming machines and gaming options. My room was right across from the elevator so going back and forth was a breeze. So there's a lot to like.

Thin walls that allow everyone to hear each other. Could hear everyone next door and outside.

Pleasant hotel part of Binions casino, right on Fremont St, standard room, nice wooden floor had old style feel, standard facilities and fridge was nice touch, casino has usual bar n restaurants etc right in heart of Fremont St action..

Ok..well my room was facing Fremont st and boy is it loud....loud music you could hear n feel till 3am, now this applies to many Fremont hotels which is fine if you are gonna be up late but you may want to check where your room will be, I assume higher up or further away rooms would be quieter.

The location is ideal if you are looking to spend time on Fremont Street where there's a lot of free live music entertainment... and more! The hotel does not charge any resort fees, which is the main reason why I picked it (no hidden fees). The room was simple, everything was clean, front desk people were very nice. The room had a small fridge, a safe and an AC unit. Fremont street is far from the strip but easily accessible by cab or by bus (2$) if you are willing to walk a few blocks.

The windows are old stained glass. While they look nice, the windows didn't open so I could not see outside. Live entertainment goes on until around 2am so it's not the place to go if you have problems sleeping.

Great location with good transport links and pedestrianised areas. Vegas was cold while I was there and I liked that I could turn the heating up in my room nice and high. They were generous with the amount of toiletries.

Quite basic without and tea or coffee in the room, but still great value for the price I paid. I would have also liked warmer bedding.

The location was great, directly on Fremont Street and I was there to watch some shows there. You're in the middle of the action. The place is pretty cheap, very well located in the Binion's. No frills, you get what you pay for. I really appreciated that the place did not have resort fees. Staff at the front desk was nice and helpful.

It's so close to the street and I was on the 2nd or 3rd floor, it's normal that you hear it, but I would have liked to be able to open the windows to see/hear outside a little bit, but they were old windows with stained glass that didn't open.
