This was our second stay at the Longhorn Hotel and Casino. We were there for 17 days and what can I say …….we had a great time. The entire staff and all Employees are super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and you feel at home. The pool is great and you always have enough space to swim. The restaurant is fantastic. Not expensive and it tastes great. I love playing here at the casino. There are some old machines but also a lot of new ones. A good mix that is fun. And With all the security guards you feel very safe and the boys are really nice. We appreciate it very much and we are already looking forward to our next vacation.we hope to see you all again next summer. Kind regards, Heidi and Katharina from Germany

The beer and food options are absolutely the most affordable in all of Las Vegas and yet underreported on discussion boards, etc. While the walls allowed some noise from other rooms, it was generally always quiet and I was never disturbed. A few times folks talking in the hallways disturbed me, but that is everywhere. The price was great. I stayed for a almost two weeks. Access to Walmarts and the refrigerator allowed me to stock the room with plenty of seltzer and some food. I am on strict diets, and go off them in Vegas a little, but need not to eat all day off them. I ate most of my off diet meals there in the Chuckwagon and all were good. That porterhouse special was a real treat. I had it three times and never was it incorrectly cooked. Severs were friendly and attentive. Graveyard specials were like they were 20 years ago. Huge portions for no money. I generally left a $5 tip regardless of the prices. 20 per cent of $2.50 is just not enough. Ice was a floor down but very easy. The pool seemed nice, but the jacuzzi was closed. Buses were cheap and easy and right there. BHX went downtown. 202 went to the strip after stopping for a driver break across the street and next to the closed Eastside Cannery. Boulder Station and Arizona Charlie's were an easy bus ride away. Security was excellent. I had read some reports of security being difficult, but I saw nothing like that. They were friendly, helpful, and quiet when they patrolled the building, which was often. Once I left my room door ajar and in five minutes they were knocking and asking me if I wanted it ajar. The laundromat was easy to use and in excellent shape. I could get quarters at the desk and do a load easily. The resort fee was very low and included wifi. Some websites seemed to suggest there was a separate charge for wifi, but there is not. The resort fee covers it. Players Club was good. Points accumulated fast, stay forever, and there was a cashback system.

My wifi was fine last visit, but there is a problem for some laptops, sometimes, in some places. I'm concerned about it. I don't have a phone hotspot in my contract, but I think I'll get one before I go in October. I'm booked for two weeks then and I write a good bit on the internet. On checkout there was no place to store luggage until my ride came and it was firmly at eleven where most places will give us a free hour. I wish the VP paytables were full pay. 7/5 DB was the best I found. However, some of these were progressives and there was a grand promotion of $1000 extra in free play on Thursdays so I played then and walked to Sam's Town to play full pay other times.

The people maybe don't like a lot thes hotel, because it's far away from Las Vegas Strip and Grand Cassinos area. This is not a problem to me! This is a bonus! I don't loke Crowded places. For me this is excellent! No complains!

No complain about the hotel. But have some confusions whit payments in the front desk, because we have a large group. Other little problem is because restaurant is inside cassino area. You have to pass by the cassino, and don't smeel good.

We prefer this Hotel casino over others in Vegas because of there pricing, no extra parking and unforeseen charges! Plus having dogs they one of the best dog friendly hotels in Vegas. Staff so cool and polite and just a awesome place.

We just like to see areas where dog relive themselves cleaned better or make guest pick up dog droppings. They furnish dog poop bags but seems some people so inconsiderate and don’t clean afterwards. Also like to see better smoke ventilation in the casino floor, we gamble short periods because of cigarette smoke fumes

Staff was friendly. Room was spacious, beds were very comfortable. The casino manager went above and beyond! We wanted to eat at the restaurant but the credit machine was down and we didn't have cash. She brought us to the atm machine. My hubby won a free sweatshirt, on the free spin thingy. We were headed to Canada from Mexico and had no warm clothing. We were thrilled that he got it for free, then she went out of her way and went and got one for me as well. Very very impressed with her customer service.

great value, don't have to deal with strip traffic or noise. nothing fancy, but again, great deal with a restaurant on site with very good home style food. Only about 15 minutes from the strip. also, a lot of hotels since covid have not been having cleaning staff clean rooms daily unless requested, this hotel still does that as a normal routine. pool and the jacuzzi all open and in working order. although it is an older hotel and casino, everything was clean and in working order. Nothing fancy, but when you're in Vegas, you're not there to stay on your room anyway. With the money you safe and the time you safe not having to deal with the madness of the strip every time you want to come and go, you are much less stressed and ultimately have more money and time to do more things

wish they had room upgrades available. mostly for bed size. all beds are doubles. me and my husband are used to a king. i would i have preferred a queen. the double just seemed so small

Clean room, clean towels provided daily, AC worked well, beds were comfortable. Receptionist who checked us in was lovely and helpful. Not too far from downtown Las Vegas and the strip. Even if you don't drive, it's easy enough to reach there by bus and there's bus stop outside of the hotel. Food from Chuckwagon restaurant downstairs wasn't bad and price was reasonable. We were given coupons and souvenir upon checking in. Room price is reasonable

Strong cigarette smell in the hotel lobby, lift even hotel towels. Perhaps they should have installed a door into the casino from the lobby. The black lady in the casino was quite rude when we just wanted to get our souvenir. She needs to be retrained for customer service

This hotel is hugely underrated in my opinion, probably because of its location or its looks from the outside. But all the members who work there give you a great welcome feeling, the rooms are very decent, the food is of good quality and they give you a nice coupon package upon checking in. Personally I like the location a lot because I'm a frequent user of public transport and the Walmart is next door. I've been here a few times now already visiting from The Netherlands and I will definately come back!

They do not accept cash payment for the room stay... :(
