Passport Inn Somers Point - Somers Point

We always stay at Passport. We used to stay across the street, but we only sleep there. Passport was clean, plenty of towels, windows open which is a plus, as it was very breezy. The staff were very accomadating. Lots of ice and a nice cup of coffee in the AM, which is all I needed.

My boyfriend and I were on a budget but still wanted to go to the beach. Passport Inn was the perfect location/motel for our needs. Our room was clean, the staff was friendly, and conveniently location to the beach. The cleaning lady would go in everyday to tidy up/clean the room and replace the towels. It was a short drive to OC NJ Boardwalk/Beach and a nice short walk to the Crab Trap. It is not by any means a fancy, upscale motel but if you are looking for a place to stay on a budget and don't mind paying for parking by the boardwalk, this place is for you!

Only thing I have a negative comment on is the parking which is not entirely Passport Inn's fault. The parking lot is fairly small and if someone parks a truck by either entrance, it can make the parking lot seem even smaller. Like I said, this isn't Passport Inn's fault and would not deter me from returning here again but designating certain parking spots for specific cars/trucks would be beneficial.

This is basically a "bare bones" ,motel.......but is clean, comfortable and " easy on the pocketbook" It is close to the ocean and the boardwalk (a little over the bridge drive) and should be okay for families (with close to the boardwalk parking) . This was our second stay there (both times off season) but we would certainly stay there again! These are obviously older units in need of some attention..............but clean and comfy!! Highly recommend if on a budget!! It is also close to affordable food and beverage choices.........a very good locations.

The location was good. It was right near the bridge to Ocean City and a Wawa. Check in and check out was easy.

The room was snug. For one person it would be fine, but for a family of four, it was tight. But it wasn’t unmanageable. The parking lot was also a little snug.

Location was fantastic. Room was small but clean. The pool was great. Appreciated room service each day. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in the shower was really good. The pool was warm and clean.

Only complaint is that the room smelled like musty old cigarettes. I don't think a location as family friendly as this should allow smoking in rooms anymore. The smell never goes away.

Nice pool, rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, it’s close to the beach and the boardwalk Wawa, liquor store, diner next door and restaurant across the street definitely would stay again!

You can walk across the bridge but it is a long uphill walk it would take about an hour to get to the boardwalk. I recommend using Lyft or Uber, they come 3 to 6 minutes you’re on vacation after treat yourself!!

Did not spend much time in the hotel. Weather did not cooperate so we were not able to use the pool. Room was clean and comfortable.

Parking lot was small and not a lot of room for maneuvering if you have a larger vehicle. It's located in a busy location and sometimes made it a little difficult to get out. However, that is not the fault of the hotel.

This place is very clean. The room was fantastic and big. No issue with parking on site. The customer service was awesome. The guy behind the desk was nice .pool was a good size to swim in. Overall this is right near bridge to go to OC N.J. WE will be coming back

I have really nothing bad to say the only thing I can think of is it's location. It's on a busy street but we didn't hear the cars

Booked non smoking room last minute for great price on a Saturday night- we checked in around 7pm for one night.. Price was reasonable, room was very clean and nice (I'm super OCD-literally, flipped up mattresses checking for bugs, headboards, floors, walls- if u know u know. Didn't find anything. Bedding was clean too), owner was nice (let the kids swim earlier than time listed for pool hours), and pool was clean and nice. Bathroom was clean, toilet clean and had paper seal letting u know this, towels clean, tub clean. Had bigger mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, cable TV, WiFi, good amount of outlets for charging devices. Had room with 2 double beds. Good location. Definitely, definitely would stay again. If you're looking for one of the better motels, I'd say this is it. My sister booked a smoking room and it did smell like stale cigarettes, but what can you expect. Her room was clean too after checking everything. They also let her park 2 cars. If you're looking for a budget friendly motel, just a few miles from Ocean City, I'd say give this place a try. One of the best "motels" I've stayed at by OC shore.
