Thoughtful renovation with a few nice design touches. Natural ventilation is a plus in my book. Bed was firm but really comfortable. The complementary "outdoor" box consisting of yummy instant classics like ramen and oatmeal and outdoor cooking utensils + fridge for beverages was a thoughtful and unexpected little extra.

Pool was not cleaned yet and closed unfortunately. But this was probably due to early our early June stay. There is environmental friendly ways to finish the flooring, which would help preserve the cozy rooms longer. In its current unfinished state, it attracts dirt rather quickly, especially since guest before us did not take off their shoes.

I was pleasantly pleased with the accessibility of the Lorca. As I opened the room door, I immediately noticed the extra amenities in the room, including the coffee, hot cocoa, tea, candy, and oatmeal. Additionally, they had nice shower products. Everything was spotless which I definitely didn't expect given the woodsy location. It was perfect!

The window treatments could be a bit bigger as I had a few gaps in the curtains. I would have liked one more outlet to plug in my electronics. The walls were thin but there was a fan that helped drown out the coughs and sneezes of the adjacent room.

The location was the main reason to stay here; as I was walking a few if the mountains close by. The room was on the small side, but as it was only me staying it was fine. The breakfast was minimal, a packet of “Quaker” oats. It was a nice touch to have a bar of chocolate each day: a nice luxury while out in or on one of the mountains I walked. The bed was fabulous 100%

The pool was out of order: shame as while I was there the weather was great. Pity there was no TV as the nights were long and Reading your book in the poor room lighting was not good for your eyes.

The room was very clean with minimalist, modern furniture but an Adirondack vibe. It had verything we needed in a small, thoughtfully appointed footprint. Requests for small things—extra pillows, washcloths, and so on—were quickly taken care of by text, which was very convenient. If I'd read the clearly presented information booklet in the room, I'd have found that kayak rental was available! I would absolutely have taken them up on that had I thought to read the book. I skipped it, thinking that what I'd read on the website was enough. Take the time to read it, and learn about what's available locally. It was really well done.

We liked everything! Location, amenities, price, responsiveness, and communication. We will come back.

Loved the rustic cabin type of feel, communal fire pits and grills with wood, utensils, sink provided.

It was totally fine for us for a couple of days but the room and bathroom are very small for four people. It’s a great place for travelers who are just looking for a clean spot to sleep and planning to spend most of the time exploring the area or relaxing in the outside spaces.

The location was great and cost was a good value for the area. Plenty of parking right by the door so easy to load and unload the car. Lots of little details like creamer and sugar for the coffee, nice shampoo and body wash stocked up for the shower. Wifi was a welcome necessity as there isn't cell service.

The shower was a little small for my partner. The walls were a little thin - easy to hear our neighbors on either side, but they were courteous.

The rooms are meticulously maintained, and lovingly decorated in a Scandinavian-style pinewood design. I was there in the winters so there was nobody else around, and the pool was closed, but the accommodation was cozy and comfortable. It is close to the road and easily accessible.

Guests should be aware that there is a cleaning fee of $15 on top of the regular price.

I liked everything about this little motel. It was a small room with homemade furniture, completely renovated. the fridge was small but met the need. The bed and down/feather comforter were exceptionally comfortable. Quality towels and real dishes were a nice touch as well.

Room was nicely decorated, clean and fresh. Mini fridge and other small amenities were nice.

Water pressure for showers was terrible. Also it would be nice to have a few shelves to put clothes rather than living out of luggage.

Lighting could have been better, perhaps individual lights over the beds to allow for reading prior to sleeping. Could use a few hooks for used wash cloths, towels. Suggest a basket to put used towels in so people don't put wet towels on the wood floor.
