Fairfield Inn Rochester Airport

The beds were delightful, the pillows just right. The room was large and clean and well appointed. The staff was helpful and friendly. We'll stay here again.

The signage to get there was confusing, we drove around the airport twice, even through the airport parking so we had to pay $$ to get out. It took a phone call and explicit directions to finally find our way there. We could see it and even contemplated climbing a fence to get there!

The hot breakfast was much better than I had anticipated! Thank you! Also, I really appreciated the fact that the hotel is, literally, right next to the airport! When I called from home about the airport shuttle (not knowing how close the hotel actually was to the airport), I enjoyed the joking from the hotel clerk who said, "Well, you could take the shuttle, but it will probably take quite a bit longer than the two-minute walk, if you don't mind walking." She was right! Thanks again! I really enjoyed our stay!

We had an hour's drive from home to the Rochester airport, so the location was perfect as we had a very early morning flight. The staff was helpful and friendly once we checked in.

Overall, the room/bathroom seemed clean and comfortable. When trying to retrieve an item dropped between the bed and bed table, I found a large collection of crumbs. We had planned to walk over to the terminal, but the snowy sidewalk was not shoveled. Thirdly, I tried multiple times to contact the hotel with questions before we checked in and no one answered the phone.

The hotel room, breakfast, and the vicinity to the airport were great. However, the customer service at this location was so outstanding. From the general manager, to the front desk person in the evening, front desk person to the the morning and the housekeeper. I can’t say enough amazing things about this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!!

Check in and out was very smooth. Room was very clean. Great location for early flights leaving Rochester. No shuttle because of COVID but the walk is around 200m and it is very easy to do with small luggage’s and handbags. Maybe even large suitcase with wheels. Towels are very clean have a small smell of Clorox to them). Hot water with good water pressure. They do have shampoo condition and soap for you. (No toothpaste but I had my own). Received two bottles of water at check in. Breakfast is a grab and go (because of COVID). We had yogurt and granola bar, cup of fruit and a bottle of water. Very good items in the breakfast bag). Small but light when traveling.

There is an enormous crack on the window. This is dangerous for anyone who leans on it. I rapidly took a photo and contacted front desk so I wouldn’t be blamed for this. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Photos of crack below

The location was a lil difficult to find since it was at the airport. However the location was safe…since it was at the airport!! Breakfast sounded good but I went during covid and they couldn’t serve which is understandable. But the AC was great I was able to sleep in a ice box. Price range was very decent since it was a last minute on my part!

Need better signage to display where your location.. especially if it’s at an airport! Honestly no disrespect but get out of this “hotel theme.” Like the Victorian wall paper, the old ass casino looking carpet, and dim lights. Come on it’s 2021 live it up a bit get some changes in there.

very friendly staff. close proximity to the airport enabled us to catch an early morning flight. Appreciated having breakfast available at 4 AM - THANK YOU

The hotel is walking distance to the car rental drop off. They have breakfast for early travelers at 4am! One side note: I left my watch at the room and called the hotel from the plane before our departure and asked them to look for it. They called me later to let me know that they found it!!! The staff is AWESOME!!!

Excellent hotel right next to the airport terminal, perfect if you arrive late or your flight is early - I especially appreciate the breakfast that was served from 4am and was great!

Everything else, the room was clean, and most of the staff was pleasant. Lobby was clean, restaurant staff was pleasant.

Everything was excellent except for the toilet situation. It doesn't flush all the way you have to flush over and over and it still did not flush all the way.
