Club Quarters Hotel Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia

I really enjoyed my stay at CQ. The room was great, and the price was affordable. Check-in and check-out were easy and smooth. The location is perfect, and you can find anything within walking distance. The room was small, but it was clean and had everything I needed for a four-day stay. Filtered water was available for free. I recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay again.

This hotel is in a very nice location. It was very convenient to get around places. It’s right next to rite aid and across a small mall too so that’s really nice. The area felt vibrant as well. The bed was very comfy, especially the pillows.

Sometimes the regular hotel smell in the lobby can give a headache. You have to take the elevator up to the lobby and the elevator does not have ac so can be humid for the minute you’re in there. The AC unit had buttons that you really had to press hard for up and down temp or else it wouldn’t work. Some outlets by the lamp and desk would not work without getting it at an angle. Mini fridge is only really for drinks nothing else.

We enjoyed visiting Philadelphia, and this was enhanced by spending a few days at Club Quarters. The hotel was very nicely presented and the staff were always helpful and courteous. From water and tea in the lobby to the spacious rooms and facilities, we found the whole place very relaxing

It's hard to be critical of parking, as we see it is a city wide issue for travellers, but it adds to the bill and has to be taken into consideration. When added to the hotel cost, it gets quite expensive. Whilst I was complimentary about the drinks in the lobby, I have to say that a regular black tea would have been preferable to Earl Grey, but that's just my opinion.

The property was in a very convenient location, the parking lot was close enough that my sister and I could walk from the hotel to the garage, and the best thing was that it was super close to attractions like The Franklin Institute, The Academy of Science and there was a Rite Aid directly next to the property. I was also very impressed with the water machine on each level. Also the staff were so very nice, Ty helped me to check in and answer any of my questions weather they were silly or not with a smile, and Quinton helped me with checking out. I know that things do not always go to plan but the staff here were exceptional and I cannot thank them enough!!

I honestly do not have one bad thing to say about this property.

Great location in center city. Good value given the area. Very helpful and friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable room and bed.

If driving, can be difficult to unload/load your car while checking in/out. They do have valet parking but it is expensive and there are no in/out privileges. So we did not use it. There is a loading zone for about 4 cars across the street but it can be filled when everyone is checking in/out at the same time. When we got there, we had to pay for 1/2 hour parking down the street to unload our car. Not much but definitely adds to the inconvenience. If they had luggage carts available, we could have just used one and never needed to keep the car parked. But we never found any at the hotel.

Excellent location in center city. Walk to nice restaurants, theaters, shopping, parks. Very happy that we stayed here. Nice touch will refillable water bottles and filtered water on every floor.

Rooms are a bit small but reasonable for a downtown hotel.

Solid hotel at a very good value! Perfect location as well. Everything was clean, and the bed and furniture were very comfortable. I was in a pent house room, which had a great view. Common areas were also quite good. Staff was awesome. All around an amazing price for the location.

I pretty much liked everything! Maybe the kitchenette had a sink, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, but no plates/dishware or utensils? Given the location and how awesome a food city Philly is, this is not needed and if you try to cook in your room you are seriously messing up at life.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, central to many different restaurants, shops, and rates very high for walkability! Despite the rooms being close together, you couldn't hear any other guests which was nice. Very close to a reasonably priced parking garage which was a plus.

The only push I have for this hotel is for there to be a bit more accessibility for those traveling in cars. There was nowhere to pull the car over to unload luggage. There was a valet service, but we were told we couldn't use it since we'd be checking out on a Monday, and the service was only available until Sunday. This was fine, since there is a parking lot so close by, but unloading luggage at the lobby was difficult to do without blocking a bus lane, or almost getting a ticket.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was city centre and made it easy to access shopping, sites of interest and transport. The room was clean. Price and location made this a very worthwhile stay. I'm not sure I'll stay again but that's more to do with my own issues below. I think for people with no issues over their pillow preference, this will be a great option.

I booked the room about two months before arriving. During that time the price for the upgraded room changed and was $25 more for the entire stay. I called the hotel to ask if they could upgrade my booking rather then me cancelling and rebooking. The hotel told me I could just upgrade when I arrived for$25. When I arrived they told me it would be $25 extra PER NIGHT not for the entire stay. They wouldn't axiomatic my request and the staff member couldn't get a manager to speak to me so I was quite disappointed about that. The pillows are very soft. I prefer a more firm pillow. They do not have any other pillows than the ones in the room. Surely it's not a huge expense to have some firm pillows and some soft. I found it quite difficult to sleep.

Please inform guests that this hotel is EXTREMELY DOG friendly...I'm sure, it's great for those guests who have dogs, HOWEVER people should be able to OPT OUT of being on the same Floor with dogs barking!!! Please DEDICATE FLOORS FOR GUESTS WITH DOGS ONLY!!
