Victorian Charm Inn

The first few days I had the whole house to myself. It was nice and quiet. there’s a steady stream of traffic out front, but it wasn’t very loud inside. Very nice music room, it’s been too many years since I played piano, but the piano seems to be in tune. They have a huge front porch and on the second floor there is a really nice little balcony.  it is definitely an older Victorian home. I did enjoy the antiques that were there. Very pretty.  I had an Air conditioner, refrigerator and a microwave! (There was a TV but I never turned it on, so I’m just assuming that it worked. ) And I loved having my private bath. Nice, hot shower. I was on the third floor, which wasn’t bad at all.

Towards the end of my stay, there were many more people that came in. Wasn’t a problem in the house, but parking filled up pretty quick.

Everything! The house is so beautiful, there were lots of parking space available, the wifi work well, the beds, rooms were comfy and clean, there was hot shower, and the hosts, housekeepers, were amazing! Very hospitable and lovely people! They even were kind enough to make breakfast for every night, the breakfast was really delicious! There was really nice crispy bacon, eggs, fluffy pancakes, and really nice fresh peaches & apple cider, & bananas. The town of Towanda was also really cute, quaint, has a nice river walk, and the people were very friendly. Will definitely recommend!

That our stay was too short! 3 days goes really fast here!

Everything was perfect. Traveling as a solo female, from Louisiana, safety is priority one. This place is beautiful, historical and very safe.. Mischa keeps guard, especially if you bring good dog bones.. I've felt very secure very welcomed, no worries at all so my opinion for anyone looking but not sure,, do it. Professional hardworking Hosts with great big hearts and one Mischa Dog, wagging her tail will also welcome you (bring big bones) They truly love what they do, it shows Break habits of normal travel stays that leave you feeling gross, yep, we have all seen it. Stay here....it's a solid 10 star experience Super clean

Jack and Mindy were gracious hosts! The house is so beautiful and charming with antiques everywhere in the home. Breakfast was exceptional and Jack’s homemade cider was awesome! It would be a great place for family reunions as it has ample living spaces to congregate. Thanks!!

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The stairs were a little challenging with old knees and hips. It was very quaint.

Everything from the building itself, to the owners, the the comfort and cleanliness, the breakfast, EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. Took a short walk for something to eat and drink; TONS of historic buildings and homes + beautiful river walk!!

My room was named “Caren,” but I suppose since it starts with a “C,” it’s okay 😉

I had always wanted to see.it and when the opportunity came to stay there, I took it. It is beautifully maintained and is like stepping back in time but with all the amenities. Staff were great, breakfast was good and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Nice proprietor. Close to scenic river. In the hub of a quaint town. "Porch Fest" was a nice surprise--live music on quite a number of porches of businesses. Screened in balcony was pleasant.

Breakfast was adequate.

Extraordinary Bed and Breakfast. The radiator heat was very nice. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was hot and ready at the appointed time. The owner sat with us for delightful conversation.

Nothing could have been better

The owners are fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. And Jack makes a better breakfast than you'll get at any diner! The property is beautiful and convenient to anywhere you want to go in Towanda or all of Bradford County. We stayed there while planning our upcoming move to the area, and would definitely stay again.

great location, close to the heart of Towanda, right on Rt 6. The home itself is a historic mansion lovingly kept in period detail.
