Hampton Inn & Suites Clinton

I’m so thankful for the staff at Hampton Inn. My family came in late at night for the half way point to our destination. Our car broke down as soon as we got there. We spent the entire next day coordinating a tow truck and rental car. We had to unload our entire car, packed for three kids and a week at the Beach. The hotel staff were so helpful in letting us stay later than checkout and one staff member spent all morning helping my husband. So thankful for their kindness.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was fantastic! I originally stayed in another hotel 20 minutes outside of Clinton because the other hotel was closer to the event I was competing in… however, the other motel I was staying in was absolutely filthy so luckily I got a room at the Hampton Inn in Clinton and it was great! I actually had originally booked two nights at this hotel but when I found out there was one closer to the race venue where I was competing I switched. I wish I would’ve never switched because the Hampton was just as I expected it to be perfect and the other one was no Bueno! CASEY, at the front desk when I checked in was great he was very nice.

The staff at all levels were accessible and friendly in all of my interactions from the check in clerk to the sweet woman handling the breakfast buffet. We have used this hotel as a 'quick getaway' for a couple of trips now to decompress. It's a great place to stay.

I love that it’s very close to Presbyterian College where my girlfriend goes. it’s very affordable since we’re both in college. And whenever I do come to Clinton to visit it’s a reliable hotel to book last minute. Staff is great, facility is clean. No complaints at all!

when it’s lady bugs season, they’re are lots of them in the room. They’re harmless they don’t bother you or anything. Just weird. But they are finding ways to prevent them.

I opened the microwave to heat up some tea and found the inside plate was dirty.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was super clean and attractively decorated for the fall season. We were able to park fairly close to the entrance. The hot water and coffee station in the lobby was kept stocked 24/7. We really liked the glass door walk in shower.

The breakfast was basic. No change in the menu during our 3 day stay. Bagels(not able to toast), yogurt, bananas,oranges,commercially packaged boiled eggs(rubbery texture). I know it was limited due to Covid-19 but prepackaged muffins or danish would have been nice. Maybe instant oatmeal or pre packaged cereal and milk cartons. The refrigerator in our room did not seem to run as it should. Had to tap the sides to get the compressor going.

Everything was great!!It was right by the function I was attending,the breakfast was great and the staff was amazing and very very nice!!!I will be back!!

I really love the location where the hotel was. The bedding was so comfortable and, the king room suite was very spacious! Shae the manager was very nice

I wasn’t happy the pool was close. I wasn’t to pleased with the free Wi-Fi.

the heat was kind of noisy when it would come on while trying to sleep. Otherwise great place to stay. I would prefer to pay a little more and get a nice place like this to stay at.

ideally located, pleasant professional staff, the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on in any hotel, coffee ready by 5:30 am on a weekend and reasonable priced

the elevators need maintenance and one was out of order
