Hampton Inn Newberry Opera House

Breakfast was good. Plenty of seating. The attendant did a great job keeping the breakfast area clean and restocked even though it was very busy. A good variety of choices. Loved the addition of stools in the room. They provided a comfortable private dining place. Loved the bathroom amenities especially the fragrance of the bar soap. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Check in/out was effortless. I felt like the staff were all friendly and also worked together as a team.

That I can’t stay here more often. This Hampton Inn will be the place I will stay when visiting Newberry. Convenient to downtown Newberry.

I have to give Kudos where they are due.. Maintenance Man Mr Eric.. Amir and Louis were amazing ! Always gracious.. friendly and made us feel welcomed! Mr Eric is one of the hardest working maintenance men I've seen in hotels. I hope you all realize how amazing these 3 men are and Amir made it personal which left us feeling like we now have a new friend!

Ms Blizzard is not the kind of manager you need! She made everything a negative reaction. She is the sole reason I did not give a higher rating for staff.. No microwave in rooms...

It was right across the road from the wedding venue, which was extremely convenient. It's very quaint downtown Newberry. We would book here again.

So the air seemed to be a little slow in keeping up with our preferred temperature. But I think some of that was user error.

Breakfast was adequate. The tea collection only had decafenated tea choices for 2 mornings in a row. Not everyone is a coffee drinker. There are many tea drinkers too.

Some more tea choices then just decafenated.

Perfect location for an Opera house event

Bathroom vent not working and toilet slow to flush; the look of the ceiling above the beds was a bit concerning

The location is right in the heart of Historic Downtown Newberry. The property is in quiet neighborhood. And the breakfast is fantastic!

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location is perfect. Room set up, arrangement and supplies were excellent. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Breakfast always sucks at Hampton Inn. We don't go there for the breakfast. Coffee is good, though. There was a residual smoke smell in the room, and HVAC unit got a little loud at times for sleeping.

Fast check in, friendly staff, very clean, rooms are comfortable and not far from family that lives a mile up the road.

i don’t like that anyone can come through the gate to swim, they should come through the front doors of the building.

we’ve stayed twice and the location for visiting with our family is awesome.

on our second visit one of the housekeeping staff wasn’t too happy that I asked for towels when we said we didn’t want the room serviced

We were at ease with our room. Enjoyed the weekend very much. The building is very central and easy to access. The town is very quiet at night. The front desk clerk was very efficient. She was on top of her tasks.

Can't think of a single thing. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. We will definitely be back. We liked everything about this hotel. I can't compose a negative sentence. Thanks for the opportunity though.
