Hilton Garden Inn Myrtle Beach/Coastal Grand Mall

I like the location. The mall is just a few feet away, the theater is inside the mall…I went to see the latest Batman movie (It was awesome btw). Attractions are not far, the aquarium, beach and broadway are about 6-12 minutes away, probably shorter depending on traffic. Food places are not very far off. This hotel do have a restaurant that serves breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is pretty good, I haven’t had their dinner entrees. My stay was very relaxing and comfortable. I will be coming back.

There was a slight odor when I turned on the water in the bath tub to shower and flushed the toilet. Maybe some slight septic tank issues, not sure. I also didn’t like the fact that the fire alarm went off at 5am…..probably was a mistake from one of the tenants.

The room was a nice size and very clean. especially the bathroom!

After my workout I returned to my rm to find my daughter startled and upset because a women open the door she didn't bother to identify herself or give the reason for unlocking and opening the door. she made eye contact with my daughter said sorry and closed it. After the investigation it tuned out it was the supervisor of housekeeping and that she did opened "the wrong door". I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism during the situation and how we're treated with an attitude as if we created the confusion. They didn't even bother offering an apology for the confusion.

The breakfast was great. I can’t wait to go back .

The distance from the hotel and the beach was between 7-8 minutes. The beds was comfortable. The room was decent size. The bathroom was decent size. The shower was spacious and water level was great. The hotel location was in walking distance from the mall lots of popular stores and great restaurants to choose from to eat. The al-carte price for the breakfast was reasonable between $8-$13 dollars and the food selection was good....Potatoes ...eggs...bagels...waffle...fruits... Sausage... Juices .... coffee...etc. the bar closed at 10pm and the dining room for dinner closed at 9pm.

The price was high for one night $342. However it was a car event that weekend so maybe that's why the price was high for one night.

Hotel rooms were clean, staff was friendly. I really don’t have anything negative to say. Overall it was a very positive experience. I’m also not the type of person to be nitpicky. I’m extremely easy-going. I would definitely stay here again.

I don’t have anything negative to write. Overall I had a positive experience. However I’m a very easy-going person so I don’t find fault in a lot of things. It was my first time at Myrtle Beach and I enjoyed the area and this hotel was perfect for me

Facility was very clean, outside pool was very nice, and the location was great!

WiFi was for Hilton members only, with the price I paid for the week I feel like we should have access to the WiFi. The guy who checked me in asked if I was a Hilton member, I said no, he said I kind of figured. The way he said it made me feel like I was being talked down to and judged.

I love the hot tub , the staff , the location , the breakfast, the bar EVERYTHING!!

Breakfast ended so early so we had race down stairs to catch it . LOL

The cleaning staff was great and friendly. The hotel was pretty clean and I love the fact they had welcome signs for the cheerleading competition. The location was awesome. There's literally mall right there.

After walking in and out of the front door of the hotel a few times and not getting the warm greeting from some of the front desk staffers even after speaking to them. A simple hello would be nice especially when someone speaks to you. We just use the side doors to avoid that.

The hotel was clean and in a good location. Staff was coutteous and the breakfast and dining area was nice

The only mishap was the toilet was clogged and overflowed but maintenance responded in a timely manner.

The staff, were beyond amazing and accommodating. I did not get her name but the lady at the bar went out of her way to make our anniversary special and had a surprise waiting for us after we ordered our dinner. We will never forget that. The room was very clean and so were the facilities.

The bed was absolutely horrible, and slept horribly, and the pillows were extremely thin. Also our room was smaller than I would have liked for the price we paid. I also don’t think our bed was a king size at all, which is what I reserved or at least it didn’t feel like it. I didn’t like the food we ordered from the restaurant either. My husband had the steak and I had the salmon, both of which were extremely dry and our food was cold by time we got up to our room. It was close to closing so we didn’t bother going back downstairs.
