Residence Inn by Marriott Columbia West/Lexington

There was a mix up in the reservation. there were four of us. We needed one suite which had two rooms, that would sleep four. Somehow the reservation went through for two suites like for 8 guys, with four beds and two pullouts which we did not need. After seeing this and prior to our trip I feel like I spoke to and to the hotel and explained to them I just needed one suite for four guys. It was kind of a fiasco after that. The hotel itself was nice, great location with proximity to airport, restaurants, highway etc. and the room itself was nice.

The hotel staff was very friendly upon check in and check out. The common areas were clean and our room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and very clean. The bed was comfortable and overall we were very pleased with our room, I would definitely come back to stay at this hotel.

The curb appeal to this property left a bit to be desired. When we got there, we weren't sure what door to even use to enter and the outside was a bit run down with overflowing trash cans. They allow pets at this facility and I'm not sure if that is allowed in any room or if there are designated rooms for pets. Regardless, the people in the room next to us had a barking dog which was a bit disruptive while we were trying to nap.

My niece was turning 16 and instead of a big party she just wanted a sleepover away from home (she has 4 younger siblings) so she asked me to rent a room for a night and I picked this location becausw it was one of the few in our area that had 2 bedroom suites or innerconnecting rooms. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the suite. The kitchen has a full fridge, microwave, full oven and a dishwasher. The bathroom in the "master" was big and spacious and the shower is certainly big enough if you are into orgies lol. Both beds were nice and all the rooms had a tv. I appreciated a designated dog area - although not confidently located.

I didn't like that the only place designated for walking dogs was on the backend of the hotel - I also wished that either a map was in the room or when you checked in with a dog that it was made clear where to walk them - all I saw were signs telling you where not to walk them, but nothing letting me know. It's not a deal breaker, would just be a nice thought.

Breakfast was excellent except for the lack of sugar-free syrup. Orange juice was a bit thin, but good.

A ramp close to the entrance would be nice. Existing ramps are out of the way from most of the parking lot.

Bathroom lighting was amazing. Huge shower. Loved the couch

Maybe that the walls were a bit thin or it could of just been the door but I could hear anytime some one was coming or going that kept waking me up

I enjoyed the room. It was very clean and comfortable. Great size.

I liked everything. The staff was really nice. Definitely should be at least a 4 star hotel

great location off the I26. the hot breakfast was good

outside trash can was overflowing when we arrived and it was never emptied during 3 days we were there

The room was great and the staff was very friendly. I especially enjoyed the morning breakfast. Very neat and clean set up with lots of things.

The location was very convenient to the highway we were traveling on during our trip. The staff was very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Thanks for a very nice stay. We look forward to staying at another Residence Inn.

The location was great, the room was amazing & had plenty of space. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was polite and helpful. It was a really great experience for a 1 night stay, wish I could have stayed longer.
