My Place Hotel-Watertown, SD

The staff when we checked out was so friendly and even gave my niece a crumble cookie and us a cold bag to keep. Room was clean and bed was comfortable to sleep in. Was only there a very short time so didn't use any of the facilities in the hotel.

The younger gal that checked us in was rude and not friendly at all. She also was messing around with her tongue ring the entire time we were trying to check in. She was very unprofessional and acted very uninterested in helping us.

1st time staying at a MyPlace hotel. It was great! Staff was friendly, engaging and thorough with property offerings at check-in. Am unsure with the property - is the kitchen supposed to provide plates / bowls, glassware and silverware? Room itself was very comfortable. I traveled all week and Watertown was my last stop - best sleep I had ALL week! Thank you for the great stay.

Nothing in the kitchen (i.e. glasses, silverware, plates).

Check-in was easy, location was good and the room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. First time staying at a My Place and will definitely stay again.

We were disappointed with the amount of noise that could be heard in the room above ours and on our floor. Better insulation in walls and ceiling would be helpful.

We did not take advantage of the breakfast, but appreciated the free coffee.

I loved the thoughtful message from management, regarding the importance of family - made me love your organization immediately. The only downside for us is that we were right over the lobby on the second floor. The room was beautiful, and very comfortable, but the shades did not fully cover the windows (slight gap) and the reflected light from the parking lot landed right on my pillow, in my eyes! Of course! No one's fault, but I will try to make sure our next stay has our room on the backside, away from the front door, lobby and parking lot. Very good experience overall and looking forward to our next stay in Brookings, SD, next month!

The hotel was amazing. Very clean, great facilities, and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stop here again next time.

There’s no ice machines available so each room has a full sized refrigerator but the ice maker in the room was off. Services should check this when cleaning the rooms. All else was fabulous.

We enjoyed staying at My Place Hotel. We had not heard of them before but we wll look to stay with them again when we have opportunity. Our room was large with a full kitchen which would be nice if you were staying for an extented period. Front desk staff were very friendly. The hotel is directly across the street from the Terry Redlin Museum which is well worth visiting!

At this time they were only offering packaged breakfast that you paid $5.00 extra for. Understand the need during 2020 but not now.

Loved that there was a little kitchen in the room. Very clean and updated. I would recommend to anyone. We usually stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels and I would say this was a better experience for a better price!

I did not have breakfast. This hotel was clean, comfortable and SUPER friendly. I loved this stay and will be back for sure.

Everything was stellar and I have zero complaints or concerns.

It was very clean, bed was comfortable, great location. Had a full-size fridge with a small kitchen.

Shower head was awful; needs replaced with one that provides a stream of water closer together. Could use a nightlight in the bathroom.

Clean, comfortable, and affordable! Would definitely stay again.

Our door rattled quite loudly every time the room next to ours opened or shut theirs.
