Red Roof Inn Etowah – Athens, TN

The property was clean & well maintained. The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. The guy working at the front desk when we checked in was rude & not very friendly. He warmed up by the time we checked out. 😒🙂

The carpet needed to be cleaned, very dirty in the hallways. The water fountain didn't work & was dirty. The laundry room for customers was small & to dry your clothes was a little expensive. The was no breakfast in the hotel. But there was coffee which was terrible, they would better off not having it either. 😔😔

The location is great and it was quiet for the most part except for one night somebody was running a pressure washer until 1130 at night outside. It might have been McDonald's next door

The bed could have been more comfortable. It made noise alot even when I turned over

convenience, near town restaurant and on main highway in town. We road the Hiwassee River train ride and this a a nearby hotel.

This was my first visit to a Red Roof Inn. I was not used to having a 1/2 size pillow. But we had 2 a piece and it worked.. I would visit a red roof inn again.

Lady at the front desk when we checked in was very nice Dana I believe was her name. (I'm horrible with names, sorry).

There was used wash cloth & soap still in the shower, still damp. Coffee maker was dirty & still had the the coffee "bags" in it from the last person. Towels were HORRIBLE, tiny scratchy & thin...typical motel towels. Pillows! OMG the pillows, tiny miniscule, filled with little balls of IDK what, that flattens out to nothingness.

The front desk person was incredibly friendly and helpful. We ran into a situation and she handled it with grace and care. I really appreciate that level of customer service.

It was a little far from the highway, but worth the drive

The staff at front desk was very friendly and very informative. Which I remembered her name.... we asked about local places to eat that were good, she recommended a reastaunt that was very good. The room appeared to be recently updated and was very clean. Great value for a quick over night stop. Plenty of partying in front and behind the hotel. Nice quite stay for good night sleep

Comfortable room.

Asked ahead for a rollaway was told there wasnt one available. On check in we were asked if we wanted one. Got charged $10 for it. Then told again later there wasnt one. Advertised breakfast but there wasnt one.

The people were very friendly and the staff was super nice and very helpful. There was always hot coffee in the dining area. I loved the shower, it was very easy to use. Over all a great stay. We will be back.

We were there over a week the only things is the bed was extremely hard, I had to go buy a foam topper to be able to sleep. I also wish we could have had breakfast, the other hotels we stayed in did have breakfast, it was served by the attendant. And our air-conditioning/heater was super loud.

The staff was incredible. Extremely excellent customer service. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Big walk in shower with awesome water pressure.

A bit of a walk from the entrance. I'm handicapped and walking is difficult.

Very nice stay..... The staff was very courteous and professional. The entire hotel and grounds were immaculately clean. The room was well appointed and once again clean and we'll maintained.
