Motel 6-Del Rio, TX

This hotel met our price point and the value for our payment was better than what I expected. We had a last minute need for a room and were skeptical of Motel 6. The reviews looked good to us and they weren’t wrong. We had a clean room with all that we needed for the night.

The lights on the grounds were brightly lit all night but the curtains weren’t able to shield it all out. Gaps at the top and bottom of the curtains made it seem line it was daylight all the time.

EI love this motel 6. Last time I had an issue with the small handicap restroom. This time we got the regular room. The restroom was great and the shower was phenomenal. I loved the shower. They would be better to let the guest know that the regular rooms have a larger wheelchair accessible bathroom. The shower is not wheelchair usable but with a shower chair is great for transferring and has two wonderfully placed grab bars. The staff is friendly and housekeeping do a great job of keeping the rooms clean and stocked. Also the price can't be best and just about everything you need is within about 3 blocks. We had a microwave that wasn't working properly. But they switched it out in a timely manner. Again, great place to stay.

This is where we stay each time I'm in town. The prices are the best around. It is centrally located next to all the restaurants, walmart, Home Depot. Just about anything that you might want is within about a four block radius. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Couldn't ask for anything more. I love the design of the shower.

I like everything about the hotel. They have been accommodating for anything that I need.

The staff was very inviting and courteous. The room smelled awesome! Very nice and clean! The rates were very fair. I will definitely look Motel 6 up again! The showers were nice and hot too. Plenty of hot water. Everything was up to par. No complaints whatsoever.

We did ask the attendant for help with television but that was mostly us. Not very electronically savvy. :)

The hotel was clean, well stocked, wonderful staff, and in a great location.

My only complaint is the design of the handicap bathroom. The toilet placement is not accessible for a wheelchair patient to be transferred to the toilet. And is in such tight quarters that a larger size individual cannot sufficiently complete necessary task. If you know what I mean.

I like the service and it's a good price for my budget. Lovely safe and clean investment. I'm very happy and comfortable. Like the pool nice and clean. Good place to stay.

What I don't like is that for me I need two pillows need and extra pillow for me. And don't like the little fridge cuz not have freezer to but ice-cream.

The bathroom was terrific. The AC unit ran very smoothly.

I would have traded the microwave, the TV, the table and chairs, all for a single comfortable chair for reading, watching videos on my laptop and surfing the internet. I had to prop myself up on the bed using pillows. Most people would not agree although they might trade in the table and uncomfortable chairs.

The bed was pretty uncomfy. Ended up going to buy a foam topper to make it all little more bearable. I'm sure neighbors knew it was a couple in the room 🤣 bed loud and squiky and kept moving. I know there was a couple in the room next to us too. 😂

the only problem I had was the chairs in the room were made of wood, not soft or tall. they were very hard on my upper and lower back. and the toilet didn’t have a lid

Pretty good location with lots of dining and shopping options close by. Room was pretty clean, if basic, but water was hot and had good pressure. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Parking lot was well lit.

Nothing really... it's a Motel 6 and not the Four Seasons.
