La Quinta by Wyndham Gonzales TX

Room's were a nice size, and love the shower.

I read about people having poor customer service and thinking, does it matter. After my experience staying there, it does matter. The first person who greets you should have a happy disposition and make you feel comfortable for choosing their hotel. The young lady who was at the front desk must have been mad to working, she was rude. I don't plan on staying in Gonzales again, but if I do, I plan on trying the hotel down the road.

The staff was awesome very friendly I was traveling with my four kids for a softball tournament so there’s a total of five of us altogether front receptionist was very nice. She was able to get us an extra rollaway cot got my 6 yr old son . Rooms were clean and comfortable even the bed for the cot. Breakfast was good as well. Very close to HEB and Walmart

Location and price were spot on. There were a lot of workers/ laborers staying at this hotel so it's quiet at night. The staff was very friendly.

It wasn't as clean as I expected. Shower had mold and there was hair on the bed and bathroom floor. Windows were filthy. Parking was not great. It's wasn't bad but I expected it to be super clean because la quinta brags about how clean their rooms are.

Friendly staff readily available at front desk, easy check in/out, very clean, comfortable beds, a/c good, nice selection of breakfast options.

Noisy room neighbors slamming doors, talking & laughing in hallway until late at night (11:00pm). But that is NO FAULT of the hotel, I guess.

Location was Juices delicious . Pigs in a blanket very good. Eggs mixed with sausage much better than without. Loved having real fruit available.

The staff lets the breakfast offerings run out well before closing time for breakfast. The chairs are too low for the tables.

The room was nice and I appreciate free parking.

The breakfast was pretty poor quality. There were guys who probably just got off shift who were doing some serious drinking (beer) at 8:30 am in the lobby. The front desk person was in the back and the few times we needed her, we had to shout out for her to come forward.

The property was clean upon arrival. our room was warm but cooled down quickly upon adjusting the thermostat. Our room was clean as well.

We did find a couple of insects, which looked like roaches, in the bathroom around the toilet plumbing. We did dispose of them.

Didn't eat breakfast.

The outside trash cans by the pool area needed to be emptied more often. It appears they went a couple of days as we noticed the same heaping trash in the cans for at least 2 days and one day appeared animals got into the trash as there were bags/food spread over the yard by the pool.

The cost with all amenities provided was excellent and the hotel was super clean and well kept.

It was a little ways from Seguin, TX, (30 mins) but I chose that hotel specifically because it had a great price for all that was included.

Breakfast was great.

One family with about 10-15 adult/children had a party in the pool area on our 2nd night so we weren't able to take a dip in the pool because seriously it looked like a private party. I'm not saying that's the hotels fault, just saying we didn't like not being able to enjoy the pool that night.
